The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we have started the '24 CIF High School baseball season Prep Baseball California is now highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '25 athletes. The players featured are pulled directly from our '25 Class Rankings. These JR year players are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.

We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our Prep Baseball California staff of scouts and the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a SoCal '25 C Carter Enoch from Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Enoch has a solid storng frame at 5'11 185 lbs with some present strength to his lower 1/2 while showing the ability to continue to add more strength in the future. With a solid arm behind the plate showing 77 MPH C arm velocity and pop times in the 1.97-2.1 range with accuracy to the bag/1B side there is plenty to like about the throw tool for Enoch. He moves well and shows solid athletic ability while flashing the mobility/agility in his lower 1/2 with the feel for receiving to be a solid backstop who has at least average defensive potential at a premium position. Enoch carries a good offensive profile to go with his defensive skill set and flashed it for Prep Baseball California staff both at the SoCal Preseason All State Upperclass event and the Spring Invitational Tournament with Santa Margarita Catholic. There is legitimate pull side raw power with max exit velocitions up to 97.3 MPH while averaging 91.1 MPH with a good feel consistently hitting the baseball hard. He launched a HR in the PSAS Upper event while drove several balls hard during the tournament showing his workout batted ball data plays in game. The swing features good bat speed up to 73.5 MPH while using his quick hands well (24.7 MPH hand speed) while staying balanced in his lower 1/2. The overall skill set for Enoch is enticing while still being able to picture more jumps across the board for him before showing up on a college campus that makes him a strong name to follow in the '25 class for college programs.
