The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as we have started the '24 CIF High School baseball season Prep Baseball California is now highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '25 athletes. The players featured are pulled directly from our '25 Class Rankings. These JR year players are ones that college coaches and fans should be keeping their eyes on over the coming months.

All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a NorCal '25 C/3B Joshua Cisneros from St. Mary's High School. Cisneros has a compact stronger build at 5'9 185 lbs and shows the throwing ability/receiving acumen behind the plate to potentially stay there while adding versatility as a solid 3B defender with solid arm strength. With a quality RH swing that shows quickness and strength in both the hand & bat path with 21.9 MPH hand speed, 77.3 MPH bat speed with the ability to generate torque in the turn showing 16.7 G's of rotational acceleration. Cisneros has shown solid raw power at Prep Baseball California events with a max exit velocity at 93.9 MPH with a consistent ability to deliver the barrel accurately averaging 88.4 MPH/100 % sweet spot rate that will play as doubles power to the middle of the park with pull side HR power (max distance 345') as he displays a good feel for getting the baseball in the air. The arm shows potential behind the plate with a clean transfer, 75 MPH C arm velocity with consistent pop times in the 1.95-2.1 range with carry and tends to be on the bag to 1B side. Shows solid glove work and feel to present pitches effectively. Cisneros is a quality defensive options behind the plate in the '25 class with a good offensive profile that can add length to a lineup for college programs in the '25 class.
