TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a NorCal '24 OF Gavin Zikria from De La Salle High School. Checking in at 6'3 190 lbs with some present strength in his upper body and athleticims Zikria shows burst in his running stride with an ability maintain his run speed. His actions defensively with good body control, feet and strength in his throwing arm (89 MPH OF arm velocity) project a future in RF for him with the potential to play CF. Using a leg kick in his load with a shift into the backside and loose hands there is plenty to like about his RH swing. With a smooth turn in the lower half with good balance he shows rhythm and a feel for his timing at the plate. Zikria is able to efficiently use his upper body to drive through the baseball with his back shoulder with good connection throughout the turn. He flashes solid average power metrics 92.5 MPH max exit velocity, average exit velocity of 85.1 MPH with a sweet spot rate of 75% with his line drive bat path will wear out the middle of the diamond with doubles. With a profile to play an impact defensive position and potential premium defensive position potential while adding depth in a lineup with extra base impact Zikria is a name to follow this spring for 4-year colleges and JUCO programs.
