The Uncommitted Spotlight Series continues as the calendar has turned over and the start of the '24 CIF High School baseball season is quickly approaching we are highlighting some of the top uncommitted class of '24 athletes. The players featured are pulled directly from our '24 Class Rankings and remain as the top players left on the board going into the start of their senior season.

We invite you to get to know them through the eyes of our PBR California staff of scouts and the data-backed numbers collected at our events with our partnered companies. TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance, and Visual Edge provide comparable data to project and evaluate players. All of these systems come together to give a clear picture at what colleges will get when a players steps onto their campus.

Today, we put the spotlight on a NorCal '24 OF/C Trajan Rogowski from Whitney High School. With a leaner and wiry frame at 5'11 165 lbs. Rogowski is a solid overall athlete who will continue to add strength to his frame and athleticism to his profile as he matures. At the plate he flashes a simple quick RH swing with loose hands and a consistent feel for finding his barrel (89.1 MPH max exit velocity and 84.1 MPH avg exit velocity) Flashes a direct path with leverage to get the ball to the outfield gaps with carry, but will play more as doubles power presently. Smooth easy operation in the box. His arm flashes above average to plus potential with 93 MPH OF arm velocity and the athletic ability (7.09 60 time) to profile in RF with above average defensive ability. Additionally, adds versatility as a Catcher with a clean transfer and arm speed behind the plate. Throws show carry with ability to live on the 1B side of the bag on his throws (1.98-2.02 pop time range). Flashes average skills receiving with good timing to his glove and softness in the hands to present pitches well. Frame will need to add some strength to stick at C, but with the versatility to add another impact defensive position (RF) he provides impact defensively in his profile with the hit tool to add depth to a college lineup. 4-year college coaches and JUCO coaches should keep an eye on Rogowski this spring for Whitney High School as an addition to their '24 recruiting class.
