Game Preview:  With both programs entering the three game series with identical 15-4 records and sitting one game apart atop the Coastal League standings in San Diego there is a chance for one program to take control of the title position by winning or sweeping the series. Santa Fe Christian features an outstanding pitching rotation which has performed at a very high level this spring allowing only 47 runs in 19 games while the Maranatha Christian staff for their part has been stellar with 64 runs allowed over their 19 game schedule. The Maranatha Christian offense has been explosive over the course of the spring having averaged 8.9 runs per game for a total of 170 runs with Santa Fe Christian having been solid averaging 6.2 runs per game for a total of 118 runs on the spring. The matchup could likely come down to the performance of the powerful Maranatha Christian Eagles bats and their ability to produce against the Santa Fe Christian Eagles stable of arms.
