Game Preview:  A intriguing non-league matchup between a pair of programs playing good baseball. Both the Patriots and Barons are feeding off of pitching staffs which have been very good to start their spring campaign with Patrick Henry having allowed just 30 runs in 15 games this year and feature an intriguing 1-2 punch right now of SR. Talin Gardini and JR. Cody Cappelletti who are sporting impressive numbers. Gardini has thrown 27.2 innings this year punching out 37 while pitching to a 1.01 ERA and a 5-0 recored with Cappelletti right behind him at 22 innings pitched with 34 strikeouts, a .95 ERA to go with his 3-0 record. Patrick Henry has 5 regulars hitting over .300 deep into the spring and Gardini has been a force with the bat in addition to his work on the mound with 4 HR's, a .386 batting average and a team leading 17 RBI's while Cappelletti himself has been impressive with the bat sporting a .385 average with 4 doubles, 1 triple and 1 HR. The Barons offense is paced by SR SS Luis Sosa who is hitting at a .372 clip while adding 3 doubles and 2 triples and SR Ty Vann has added thump with 2 HRs to go with his .333 average. The strength of the Barons team is on the mound lead by SR Ismael Castanon and his 20.2 innings pitched while striking out 30 batters and sporting an ERA of 1.69 with SR closer Josh Hughes adding 3 saves, a 0.00 ERA in 6.1 innings pitched with 13 punchouts.
