LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - From Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28, Prep Baseball hosted the latest edition of its prestigious Future Games and Junior Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent.

And for the first time ever, the Future Games hosted not just its typical set of incoming juniors and freshmen, but also a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2025 players who participated in the inaugural Senior Future Games.

On the first day of the 2024 Future Games, all players representing the 2025, 2026, and 2028 grad classes participated in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches - over 425 in total -  alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.

Today, we continue spotlighting the uncommitted talent who made up Team California at the 2024 Future Games. Next, we take a look at an intriguing two-way player out of the Inland Empire in '26 RHP/INF Taden Krogsgaard who showed his potential on both sides of the game throughout his appearance at LakePoint for Team California.

Scouting Report

7/23/24

Taden Krogsgaard, Temecula Valley (CA), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Shows two-way potential as RH hitting INF with feel to hit while displaying high ceiling as RHP with easy operation.
Body: 6-2, 163-pounds. Wiry athletic frame with length that shows projection to add strength as he matures.
Delivery: Smooth mover who displays an ease of operation to his delivery. Features knee lift to around belly button/chest height with hand pump upwards to get his timing. Sits into back hip slighlty before working down the mound with his front leg into foot strike. Rotates well in lower 1/2 up through upper body with good lead leg block allowing him to finish over his front leg with body control and repeatability.
Arm Action: RH. Depth in his arm swing out of glove that goes slighlty behind his body with fast arm speed through the delivery and loose path. Works from 3/4 slot with minimal recoil in his delivery while getting to extension out front
FB: Easy pitch he throws with low effort while featuring horizontal movement that plays to the arm side of the plate and a 2-seam like shape. Can occasionally ride the pitch in the upper portion of the zone, but shape plays better down.
SL: SLD is a sweeper like pitch with horizontal movement metrics up to 17.4" that he throws in the low to mid 70's which paired with his running FB gives him an east/west pitch mix to generate soft contact & swing/miss
CH: Firmer CHG he throws with arm side run to it that patterns well to his FB will need to kill spin more to play better as he develops.
SPLT: Effective pitch which has a short break down with horizontal run while throwing it with low spin rates to show flashes of being a swing/miss offering.
ATH: Short strider who shows burst off the line with quick first step
