LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - From Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28, Prep Baseball hosted the latest edition of its prestigious Future Games and Junior Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent.
And for the first time ever, the Future Games hosted not just its typical set of incoming juniors and freshmen, but also a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2025 players who participated in the inaugural Senior Future Games.
On the first day of the 2024 Future Games, all players representing the 2025, 2026, and 2028 grad classes participated in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches - over 425 in total - alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.
Today, we continue spotlighting the uncommitted talent who made up Team California at the 2024 Future Games. Next, we take a look at another towering '26 RHP in Blake Killinger of Orange Lutheran High School. With a long limbed and projectable 6'6 200 lbs. frame Killinger was solid during his 2 innings on the stage of LakePoint during Future Games. Working off a FB in the upper 80's which touched 90 MPH while showing the ability to ride the pitch at the top of the zone that paired well with his 79-82 MPH breaking ball. Killinger punched out 3 hitters in his two innings of work.

Scouting Report
Blake Killinger, Orange Lutheran (CA), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP Shows starter traits with his frame, arm action and pitch mix with some rawness/polish needed to reach ceiling.
Body: 6-6, 200-pounds. Uber projectable frame with length and room to fill to his wiry present strength
Delivery: Moves with low effort operation that features a knee lift just above the belt with hands moving from high set position to just in front of his chest before moving down mound. Small sit into back hip before using his front leg to work down into foot strike. Stays online down the mound with some lead leg block that helps him to maintain direction over his front side through delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Deep arm circle that works with depth behind his body up into a high 3/4 slot allowing him to hide the baseball from hitters until release. There is quickness to the arm speed through the delivery while he gets to extension with a clean finish that minimizes any recoil after release.
FB: FB has riding life when thrown up in the zone and can peak above 20" on IVB which combined with his taller frame induces swing/miss and chase from hitters. Can work down with it in zone in addition. Potential 4 quadrant FB.
SL: SLD is short and tight with a cutter like break to it giving him a glove side moving pitch to play off his FB.
CH: Features more of a straight CHG which tunneled with his ride FB can induce soft contact up in zone when executed with conviction.
