LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - From Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28, Prep Baseball hosted the latest edition of its prestigious Future Games and Junior Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent.

And for the first time ever, the Future Games hosted not just its typical set of incoming juniors and freshmen, but also a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2025 players who participated in the inaugural Senior Future Games.

On the first day of the 2024 Future Games, all players representing the 2025, 2026, and 2028 grad classes participated in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches - over 425 in total -  alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.

Today, we continue spotlighting the uncommitted talent who made up Team California at the 2024 Future Games. Next, we take a look at '26 RHP Corwin Allard of Tesoro High School. An athletic 6'1 195 lbs. right handed pitching prospect who shone bright on the LakePoint stage by going two perfect innings (6 batters faced - 6 outs recorded). Working off a heavy sinking FB with run and intriguing CB/CHG combo he mowed through the Arizona lineup.

Scouting Report

7/23/24

Corwin Allard, Tesoro (CA), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP Interesting RHP who pairs a quality downhill FB with feel for his secondaries. Starter traits with a reliever floor.
Body: 6-1, 195-pounds. Athletic frame showing present wiry strength throughout with room to fill out
Delivery: Controlled tempo during the intiation of the delivery with belly button high knee lift and small hand movement. Front side leads down the mound staying taller on backside helps him to generate tilt on his pitches. Slightly rotational with his lower 1/2 and upper body but blocks well on lead leg to generally hold his direction towards home plate with occasional pull off to his glove side.
Arm Action: RH. Arm circle features depth in the back getting below his belt, but maintains a path behind his body allowing him to hide the baseball. Works up to a high 3/4 slot with quickness in his arm path while staying behind the baseball consistently at release. Looseness to the operation with some recoil after the finish.
FB: FB plays with more of a sinker like quality to it as he throws downhill from a taller delivery. Spin rates play to a sinker/2 seam pitch while producing arm side run through the zone.
CB: CB is thrown firm with power to it reaching the 80 MPH range and approaching 2400 RPMs of spin. Works on a 11/5 almost 12/6 plane with minimal horizontal movement and more vertical depth to the break.
CH: Firmer CHG he throws in the nearly 80 MPH range, but effectively kills spin on the pitch while inducing arm side fade which tunnels well with his running FB at the bottom of the zone. Quality offering vs. LH hitters.
