LOS ANGELES, CALIF. With the fall period of the calendar in the state of California coming to a close, our staff was able to get eyes on players through Prep Baseball California events, scout ball, tournaments and other platforms that helped track performances and observe the continued improvement/development of players in the 2025 class. With the visibility afforded to our staff to evaluate players over the last couple of months, Prep Baseball California presents our updated Class of 2025 Player Rankings.
We have maintained our rankings at 350 players. Even without an expansion we continue to see plenty of changes - both small and large - to the overall makeup of the 2025 class in California. Several players are seeing themselves continue to rise up the rankings and others made strong statements to earn their way on to the rankings after the fall baseball period. We now are entering the winter baseball period in California with high school exhibition games, a few tournaments and are eyeing the 2025 CIF high school season at the start of the next year.
This class continues the early stages of being firmly in the crosshairs of evaluators for the 2025 MLB Draft, and while several players are already firmly entrenched in the minds of scouts, some new faces are making themselves known for their shot at hearing their name called during next year's MLB Draft.
Below you'll find the Top 10, Top 10 Uncommitted Players, along with notes on Rankings Risers and Ranking Newcomers.

CLASS OF 2025 RANKINGS: RISERS
TOP-10 RISERS:
+ Billy Carlson SS/RHP - Corona - Tennessee Commit (Now Ranked: 3 Previous: 5)
Carlson made a return trip for his second appearance on Team 2025 at the Prep Baseball American Game when it took place in Miami, Florida this past September. The uber-talented 2-way product from Corona High put a cap on a loud 2024 campaign by being one of the standout performers of the weekend. With a pair of in game hits including an RBI single early and a loud HR later while flashing his silky smooth actions at SS all weekend Carlson cemented his bump up one spot. But, the high profile prospect wasn't done making headlines when a few weeks later he made the decision to flip his long time verbal commitment to the defending 2024 NCAA D1 national champion Tennessee Volunteer program.
+ Angel Cervantes RHP - Warren - UCLA Commit (Now: 5 Previous: 6)
Cervantes was another return member of Team 2025 from California at the Prep Baseball All American Game and this time he was the first arm to take the mound and made an outstanding statement. Needing just 9 pitches to retire the side in his inning of work Cervanted touched 94 with his FB while spinning off an intriguing 3000+ RPM CB up to 80 MPH. The UCLA commit takes a small bump back up the board into the Top 5 in the class.
TOP-100 RISERS (11-100):
+ Dylan Harrison RHP/1B - Summit - Clemson Commit (Now: 30 Previous: 41)
Harrison continued to put together a loud 2024 calendar year with his performance during the fall period. Across the Fall scout ball/tournament schedule he was regularly into the low 90's with his FB and pairing it with an interesting low 80's sweeping SLD that dominated hitters. But, don't forget the 6'5" LH hitter also packs punch in the batters box where he swung a hot bat all fall with regular displays of power to help him jump into the Top 30 in the class.
+ Mason Greenhouse OF - Aquinas - Miami Commit (Now: 38 Previous: 40)
Greenhouse is an ultra-talented power/speed combo player out of the Inland Empire who brings loud exit velocity with impact in the batters box that has intriguing power potential. As good as the potential Greenhouse displays in the batters box, he also brings a strong CF/RF defensive profile that he showed well during the fall period. The Miami Hurricanes commit makes a good jump up the board into the Top 35.
+ Walter Urbon OF - Loyola - USC Commit (Now: 41 Previous: 45)
Urbon is a physical and athletic RH hitting OF who holds a USC commit. The RH hitter brings loud impact with power from the batters box and throughout the fall period showing his ability to generate hard contact in games while facing high level arms on the SoCal scene. His strong fall performance earns him a jump up 5 spots to inside the Top 40.
+ Gavin Laurisden RHP/INF - Foothill - USC Commit (Now: 44 Previous: 46)
Laurisden was another arm who impressed over the scout ball schedule. With a projectable, athletic frame and a FB which was consistently in the low 90's this fall while showing downhill life, that he pairs with a mid 70's breaking ball that gets soft contact and whiffs. Additionally, there is the interesting impact in his RH bat that draws some notice. He makes a two spot bump to inside the To 45.
+ CJ Hughes SS - Serra (Gardena) - UCSB Commit (Now: 47 Previous: 132)
An uber-athletic up the middle INF defender who adds an intriguing switch hitting profile with a frame that is adding strength as he matures, Hughes was '25 who was flying a bit under the radar, but no longer is. Hughes was ultra impressive over multiple different looks this fall showing an ability to impact the baseball from each side of the plate versus quality arms. Flashes the actions/arm to stay at SS potentially long term, but should easily stay on the dirt should he move off the position. Another UCSB commit who is continuing to trend way up in the class, he now joins the Top 100.
+ Damian Casas OF - Aquinas - Cal State Fullerton Commit (Now: 51 Previous: 54)
Casas made a bump after strong showing in the summer period with his LH hitting OF profile, he then continued to show his current performance with future upside during the fall that helps him pick up two more spots after the fall.
+ Jaxon Baker LHP - Paloma Valley - Oregon Commit (Now: 53 Previous: 56)
A 6'6" lefthander with a low 90's FB that he controls/commands while showing feel for his low 70's CB that will show bite/power in the 1/7 shape helped him to dominate hitters this fall. As the velocity continues to tick up, the delivery looks athletic/clean and his feel for his offspeed develops Baker continues to make a move up the board now inside the Top 50.
+ Jett Kenady SS - Carlsbad - CAL Commit (Now: 54 Previous: 63)
A RH hitting SS out of the San Diego area, Kenady has been well-regarded with in the '25 class for some time and by college programs evidenced by his Cal commitment. This fall he took a step forward with his in-game performances hitting at a high level across the entirety of his fall appearances while looking like a long term option at SS thus jumping into the Top 50.
+ Connor Jones RHP - Mira Costa - Arizona State Commit (Now: 65 Previous: 104)
After a late summer decommit, Jones used the fall period to show off his consistent low 90's FB that he gets to with relative ease because of his loose, fast arm. Jones has a wiry athletic build, and with his performance this fall against some top level competition he makes an impressive 40 spot jump up the board inside the Top 65 players in California while also earning an Arizona State commitment.
+ Robert Mahoney RHP - Arrowhead Christian - Cal State Fullerton Commit (Now: 68 Previous: 73)
Mahoney generated some quality buzz this fall with his continuing to develop his profile on the mound. With an intriguing 6'3" frame that has room to add strength, Mahoney saw his velocity reach into the low 90's this fall with control/command of the pitch while showing feel for all of his offspeed offerings. His performance across the fall scene was strong and consistent which follows his trend of regular development throughout the 2024 calendar year and puts him up 6 additional spots this time around.
+ Gavin Egan OF - Aquinas - Uncommitted (Now: 80 Previous: 85)
Egan put together a sound and strong fall period highlighted by his performance in the Prep Baseball West Coast Games putting an exclamation mark on his RH hitting OF profile with a strong performance. Egan was on the barrell all weekend and even his couple outs were hard hit balls. He also threw three scoreless innings in his outing on the mound where he reached the upper 80's flashing two quality secondary offerings. Egan sees a jump up 6 spots this time around.
+ Luke Bailey RHP - Christian - UCSB Commit (Now: 84 Previous: 204)
UCSB commits on the mound naturally draw plenty of intrigue and this fall the athletic and wiry Bailey put together a series of strong performances. Bailey had success against tough lineups throughout the fall on various circuits which backs up a strong summer seeing him make rise from the low 200's now into the Top 100. With a profile on the rise don't be surprised if this NorCal arm takes another bump in the future.
+ Cole Clark SS/2B - Huntington Beach - UC Irvine Commit (Now: 85 Previous: 131)
Clark has ridden a helium balloon up the board over the course of the 2024 calendar year ,and this fall was no different. The LH hitting MINF showed consistent performance across a variety of different events while showing the tools to stay on the dirt. Clark is generating some buzz as a potential draft sleeper for the class should he stay on the course he has set himself on this year. The UC Irvine commit grabs another 12 spots up the board this time around.
+ John Petrie II 1B - Huntington Beach - Oregon State Commit (Now: 88 Previous: 91)
The RH hitting Petrie has consistently shown to be one of the best bats in the SoCal region. Impressing our staff over multiple looks during the scout ball circuit in SoCal, Petrie showed feel to hit, a polished approach, loud contact, and the kind of bat which can carry a RH hitting 1B profile. The Oregon State commit takes a 6 spot move up the board.
+ Cameron Millar RHP - Alhambra - Arizona Commit (Now: 91 Previous: 112)
Millar joined our rankings after a loud summer and may have been flying a bit under the radar. No longer is the talented righthander out of Alhambra under the radar. Another strong series of appearances during the fall cemented a move from outside the Top 100 into a spot that should firmly entrench him amongst the Top 100 players in this class and a potential to rise.
+ Jagger Snitko SS - Beckman - Uncommitted (Now: 97 Previous: 139)
Our lone newcomer to the Top 100 who is not committed at this time, but don't let that fool you on the present talent and future potential for the RH hitting SS out of Beckman HS. He was a key piece of the CIF-SS D3 title winner and then carried it through a strong summer that included the Future Games Tryout where he was amongst the top performers. Snitko was outstanding at the plate and on defense later in the summer that saw him carry his club team to some high levels.
RISERS OUTSIDE THE TOP-100:
+ Isaiah Reveron SS/3B - Apple Valley - Cal Baptist Commit (Now: 106 Previous: 116)
Reveron has settled in right around the Top 100 of the class and the RH hitter out of the High Desert followed up a solid summer on defense/at the plate with another series of strong performances in the fall. Those performances bring him up the board just a bit, back to 105, heading into the final stretch before his senior campaign. Reveron had drawn plenty of interest from college coaches throughout the summer/fall and just recently committed to play at California Baptist University.
+ Christian Garcia RHP - Clairemont - USD Commit (Now: 112 Previous: 198)
Garcia features a physical frame and an interesting FB that has regularly worked in the low 90's, but he has now started to tickle the mid 90's and looks to be on its way to potentially living in that region. There is still some polish needed to the overall profile for him to reach his ceiling, but the foundation, and rise, Garcia has taken brings him up 87 spots now to just outside the Top 100.
+ Brady Errecart SS - St. Marys - Cal Commit (Now: 117 Previous: 120)
The RH hitting SS out of NorCal makes a small bump back up the board after a strong showing this fall on the NorCal scene. A slick fielder with some whippiness in the barrel, Errecart shows the glove/arm that will likely keep him on the left side of the infield. With a profile on the rise don't be surprised if we see another potential jump up the board.
+ Kyle Pott RHP - Franklin - UCSB Commit (Now: 128 Previous: 142)
As mentioned before, a pitcher committed to UCSB is going to bring intrigue from plenty of people, and the 6'6" NorCal righthander out of the Sacramento area has backed it up this fall with a series of strong performances. His FB is regularly in the low 90's with life, and he doesn't look to be done developing, projecting more velo/command gains are coming for Pott is a sure bet.
+ Jackson Norum OF - La Jolla Country Day - Cal Commit (Now: 130 Previous: 154)
Norum has spent the 2024 calendar year hitting the baseball with authority regularly from the spring time for San Diego evaluator Matt Monk to summer for our entire staff. Then, in the fall, the RH hitting Cal Golden Bears commit has hit his way up the board and gains 24 more spots this time around. Hitters hit and Norum demonstrates the skillset to fall into that category.
+ Luke Medhurst OF/LHP - Newbury Park - USD Commit (Now: 138 Previous: 160)
Medhurst has long been a USD Toreros commit as a 2-way talent in the Ventura County area who might have originally looked like more of a LH pitching profile player, but the LH hitting Medhurst has consistently barreled the baseball all year while showing three position OF versatility that now gives him a realistic 2-way potential at the next level. Medhurst was very good on the SoCal scout ball scene in multiple looks and helps continue a rise up the board with another 22 spots this time around.
+ Noah Solano SS - Eastlake - Uncommitted (Now: 143 Previous: 150)
Solano was another member of Team California at the Prep Baseball West Coast Games who was very impressive in both what he does as a SS who looks like he is going to stay at the spot long term, but also what he can do at the plate as a RH hitter. Solano picks up 7 spots around after a solid fall showing.
+ Raphael Dunne 2B - St. Augustine - UCSD Commit (Now: 144 Previous: 165)
Dunne may be on the smaller size physically, but what this talented INF out of San Diego showed during the spring has just continued on throughout the year and into the fall as he continues to flash his well rounded toolset on several different stages. His strong performance on the fall scene gains him another 21 spots up the board.
+ Jordan Haver RHP - Oakdale - Fresno State Commit (Now: 145 Previous: 327)
6'3 and 200 lbs., Haver checks in with a prototype pitchers body and this fall his stuff caught our attention on the NorCal scout ball scene when he ran his FB up to 91 with 2400+ RPMs of spin and mixing in a 76-78 MPH SLD with up to 2800 RPMs of spin with an emering low 80's CHG. Entering the fall Haver was uncommitted, but he completed it with a Fresno State commitment and one of the biggest jumps in the rankings on the board.
+ Cash Dabbs RHP - Redlands East Valley - UL Monroe Commit (Now: 162 Previous: 174)
Dabbs has steadily moved up the board over the summer and fall with his low 90's FB, strong frame and feel for his offspeed offerings he has consistently performed. He made a good jump with a strong CA State Games in summer, but backed it up with strong showings on the SoCal scout ball scene to gain another 12 spots up the board.
+ Max Reimers RHP/OF - JSerra - Santa Clara Commit (Now: 167 Previous: 247)
Reimers has been solidly regarded in this class, but had probably been more intrigue than performer with his strong pitch mix, athletic profile and Trinity League background. This fall the JSerra product took a big step forward and was receiving very strong reports from our staff that saw him, helping him move 80 spots up the board heading into his senior season.
+ Izzy Parsky RHP - Viewpoint - Dartmouth Commit (Now: 169 Previous: 251)
Parsky features a consistent upper 80's FB that bumps 90 MPH with an intriguing hard SLD in the low 80's while showing feel for the strike zone. The Dartmouth commit was strong on the fall tournament scene where he performed a very high level and his overall profile looks to be on the rise which picks up 82 spots on the rankings board.
+ Jack Lorenz RHP - Los Alamitos - UCSD Commit (Now: 170 Previous: 202)
Lorenz is an athletic smooth righthander out of the Orange County area who features an easy upper 80's FB which has room to continue adding velocity, feel for all his offspeed offerings, and a competitive side on the mound. He was solid in the summer and then again in the fall with multiple looks where he consistently performed against high level competition. Jumping up 32 spots, the rise for Lorenz may not be done yet.
+ Noah Haros 3B/1B - Orange Lutheran - Uncommitted (Now: 172 Previous: 189)
Haros just continues to hit and hit with loud authority. He made a jump after a strong summer and then again the LH hitting corner INF, who should be a prominent piece of the OLU lineup in the Trinity League this spring, went out and hammered the ball in the fall again. He cemeted a 17 spot jump up the board with a loud offensive performance for Team California at the Prep Baseball West Coast Games.
+ Evan Seneres RHP - San Pasqual - UCSD Commit (Now: 183 Previous: 341)
Seneres is a talented righthander out of the San Diego area who showed well in the spring and then had a solid summer. However, the reports on this UCSD commit coming out of the fall showed that he was taking a big step forward with his stuff, pitchability and overall profile to make a big jump up 158 spots.
+ Devon Wilkes 1B/LHP - Pacifica (Oxnard) - CSU Bakersfield Commit (Now: 198 Previous: 254)
Wilkes has long been a favorite of Central Coast Evaluator Steven Hardesty, but the big bodied LH hitter from Pacifica High got in front of State Director Les Lukach this fall at the Ventura County Uncommitted Game and did not disappoint. His loud power generated top end exit velocities in the 106-107 MPH range while hammering balls in BP and then showing how well his approach plays in game with a BB and 100+ MPH 2B in game, while showing solid to strong ability at 1B. He makes a 56 spot rise up the board into the Top 200 and earned a commitment to Cal State Bakersfield.
+ Ty Hanley LHP - Oaks Christian - Cal State Bakersfield Commit (Now: 207 Previous: 228)
Hanley was added to the rankings after a solid spring/summer and entered the fall as an intriguing uncommitted arm in the Ventura County/Los Angeles area. With a FB that is now in the upper 80's and feel for his offspeed arsenal, Hanley consistently performed throughout the fall and earned a CSU Bakersfield commitment and 21 spots up our board.
+ Noah Jaquez OF/RHP - Valencia - Uncommitted (Now: 225 Previous: 230)
Jaquez is a talented 2-way player out of the Santa Clarita area who continued to get better and better throughout the 2024 calendar year. He put a stamp on his rise with another strong series of performances in the fall period and with a projectable 6'3 frame, CF/RF defensive profile, and a FB that gets into the mid-upper 80's there is plenty to like about this uncommitted '25 who gains 5 more spots up the board.
+ Elijah Garcia C - Buena - Uncommitted (Now: 231 Previous: 347)
Garcia has long been known as a talented backstop who can smoothly receive, blocks with confidence/agility, top end pop times with accuracy that all make up a impactful defender at a premium spot behind the dish. After some scuffles with the bat earlier in the year that dropped him down the board, Garcia went to work on his offensive game and showed strong gains in his offensive profile that, combined with his top end defensive profile, showed extremely well at the Ventura County Uncommitted Game to bring him back up the boad 116 spots.
+ Nicky Rodriguez RHP - River City - Uncommitted (Now: 232 Previous: 287)
Rodriguez made the trip down from the NorCal area to be a part of Team California at the Prep Baseball West Coast Games in October and with a FB that sat in the upper 80's and peaked at 90 while spinnning a quality SLD in the mid 70's and foundation of a good CHG in the 77-81 MPH range. His performance on the mound for Team California was loud and cements his 55 spot move up the board.
+ Phoenix Brant RHP - Pt. Loma - USD Commit (Now: 236 Previous: 333)
Brant is another talented arm out of San Diego who is well regarded by our staff. Brant has continued to see developments in his FB velo/life, off speed mix, feel to pitch and more that helped him to a solid fall which earns him a 97 spot move up the board.
+ Marcus McQueen RHP/1B - Cajon - Uncommitted (Now: 245 Previous: 250)
McQueen has steadily performed throughout the 2024 calendar year as both a strike thrower on the mound with a quality pitch mix and mid 80's FB, but also with his feel to hit and impact at the plate from the RH side. His big durable body with well rounded foundation and consistency of solid performances helps him continue to move up the board.
+ Josh Brown OF/C/INF - Oaks Christian - Uncommitted (Now: 246 Previous: 316)
Brown made his debut on the board after a very solid summer of showings, but then he took a big step this fall with his work at the plate. A versatile defender who can play a few different defensive spots Brown showed that his RH hitting profile can be an impactful piece to a lineup this fall. He swung the bat well on the SoCal Scout Ball scene and then put together a very strong showing with Team California at the West Coast Games that brings him up 25 spots.
+ Trevor Smith OF - Granite Hills - Uncommitted (Now: 288 Previous: 318)
Smith may not be the biggest player on the field or have the loudest collection of tools, but when you combine the totality of the package into a baseball player you get a very good player. The Granite Hills OF got very strong reports after a strong fall of performances that helps him gain 33 spots up the board inside the Top 300 players in the state.
+ Mason Ravera RHP/SS - Granada - Uncommitted (Now: 289 Previous: 293)
Ravera showed well this fall with an emerging FB on the mound that now regularly works in the upper 80's and has started to show consistency to get into the low 90's. With an athletic delivery, solid 6'1 frame and a strong fall of performances he picks up 7 spots on the board.
+ Aaron Jacobsen 1B/OF - Glendora - Westmont Commit (Now: 291 Previous: 343)
Jacobsen had a solid 2024 spring/summer which included a very good showing at the SoCal Preseason All State Upperclass, but this fall he took a strong step forward with his offensive profile by hitting and, hitting with authority, on a very consistent basis. A physical frame and corner profile his RH bat was loud and impressive enough to earn himself a commitment to NCAA D2 Westmont this fall.
+ Trevor Wilson INF/RHP - Oakmont - Uncommitted (Now: 292 Previous: 306)
Wilson put together a very solid fall and especially impressed with his well rounded profile and upside that gives him a solid jump up 17 spots heading into his senior campaign.
+ Kieran Babai C - San Marcos - Uncommitted (Now: 348 Previous: 350)
Babai made his debut in the rankings after a very strong showing at the CA State Games. As a 2-sport player who is a starter on the football team at San Marcos High in Santa Barbara, Babai did make a few appearances on the fall baseball scene. Already well respected for his work behind the plate as a receiver/blocker he showed an improved arm throwing and then also swung the bat well to pick up 2 spots and has started to generate some college interest from coaches.
CLASS OF 2025 RANKINGS: NEWCOMERS
TOP-100 NEWCOMERS:
+ Jarret Nielsen SS - Long Beach Jordan - Hawaii Commit (Now ranked: 64)
Nielsen is QB1 at Jordan, but don't let his loud football profile fool you the uber athletic INF and RH hitter is an intriguing baseball prospect too. He brings a power/speed potential at the plate from the RH side where he impact the baseball with authority at the plate while creating havoc with his athleticism on the bases. As good as his profile is at the plate he looks like he has the tools, actions, arm and more to stick at SS long term. Nielsen has some physicality to his frame, top end athleticism, intriguing tools across the board and now finds himself in the Top 65 players in California.
+ Duncan Russell RHP - Bishop O'Dowd - Northwestern Commit (Now Ranked: 76)
Russell has a prototype pitchers build with a quality stuff and has picked up a D1 commitment to play at Northwestern. + Maxwell Schneider RHP - Vazquez - LMU Commit (Now Ranked: 78)
Schneider has an intriguing 6'5ish frame with some present physicality and has previously shown a FB into the mid 90's with plenty of life out of the hand, but strikes and control were an issue for him at times. This fall the talented righthander out of a small school in the high desert area showed on the SoCal Scout Ball scene, plus tournament scene that he has made strong improvements across the board. His FB worked in the low 90's regularly and was in/around the zone consistently while showing improved feel for his offspeed offerings. His delivery looked cleaner and overall showed the future potential he has which puts him on the board for the first time.
NEWCOMERS 101-350
+ Hayden Woodson SS - Servite - USC Commit (Now Ranked: 103)
Woodson is a talented RH hitting SS out of the Trinity League who may have been slighlty flying under the radar, but the USC commit went out and absolutely hammered the baseball across a couple of big fall tournaments while flashing his INF defensive profile at a high level. + Dylan Garcia C - Maranatha - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 126)
Garcia may be on the smaller side for a catcher at 5'10 155 lbs., but don't let size fool you, the tools this senior backstop at Maranatha possesses are very good. He showed that throughout the fall period and has gotten glowing reviews coming in that helps him earn his first appearance on the rankings.
+ Jackson Pratt OF - St. Francis (La Canada) - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 141)
Pratt likely should have been on this board after a solid showing in the spring for St. Francis and summer at the Ventura County Summer ID, but his performance at the Orange County Uncommitted Game along with reviews coming in on the talented LH hitting OF with athleticism, cemented his appearance at 141 on the rankings board.
+ Esteban Olazaba SS - Aquinas - Cal State Fullerton Commit (Now Ranked: 155)
Olazaba is a compact framed but athletic RH hitting SS who has been a piece of the varsity roster at Aquinas for 3 years. With a CSU Fullerton commitment and a polished bat to ball approach at the plate, he might have flown a bit under the radar, but no longer. With strong reviews coming in on his performance this fall, Olazaba makes his debut on the rankings and is another prime candidate for a rise before he graduates.
+ Brayden Gutierrez C - Stockdale - St. Marys Commit (Now Ranked: 168)

+ Micah Taguiam C - St. John Bosco - uncommitted (Now Ranked: 197)
Taquiam is looking to take a prominent role on a talented St. John Bosco team which is looking to back up a CIF-SS D3 title game appearance in 2024 with an even better run through the Trinity League and in CIF playoffs come 2025. The reports on his performance this fall coming in show that this talented backstop is performing at a level that earns him a spot amongst the Top 200 players in the class.
+ Brandon Ibarra OF - Warren - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 201)
Ibarra is an interesting RH hitting OF out of the SoCal area who has flown a bit under the radar. With feel to hit, emerging power, and versatile defense, he has put together a strong fall and is getting very good reports to earn his way onto the rankings.
+ Hayden Elchlepp SS - Stockdale - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 205)

His FB regularly works in the upper 80's and has bumped into the low 90's while mixing in a mid 70's breaking ball with upside to his overall profile. The feedback coming in on Golino this fall cemented his first appearance in the 2025 class rankings.
+ Evan Thomas SS - Fallbrook - UCSB Commit (Now Ranked: 208)
Thomas has been a name out of the San Diego area who has generated plenty of buzz as maybe one of the best fall performers. A player with a UCSB commitment is not often one who flies under the radar, but as a 2-sport athlete who is QB1 in football with a projectable 6'4 190 lbs. frame, there is plenty to like about the LH hitting Thomas at the plate or on the INF dirt, and don't be surprised if we see a big jump for him now that he is on the board.
+ Brady Durkan RHP - Frontier (Bakersfield) - Cal State Bakersfield Commit (Now Ranked: 211)
Durkan is another 2-sport talent who suits up on the gridiron for Frontier, but his profile as righthander on the baseball diamond is where he will take his talents to as a college athlete. Durkan sits in the mid 80's with his FB, but peaks in the 88-89 MPH range and once he focuses full time on baseball it should be expected for him to make a jump with velocity/life on all his pitches. After solid 2024 calendar year and a few pop up performances, Durkan joins our board for the first time.
+ Cash Osterfeld RHP - Capo Valley - SDSU commit (Now Ranked: 214)
Osterfeld has an intriguing 6'4 210 lbs. frame and a present FB up to the high 80's which bumps 90 MPH and shows plenty of projection to continue adding velocity as he matures. His summer was solid and now after a strong fall filled with very good reports coming in the Orange County product jumps into the rankings.
+ Gavin Moran RHP - Ganesha - UCSB commit (Now Ranked: 222)
Moran is another player who seems to have flown a bit under our radar, but now after a strong live look on the SoCal scout ball scene with several very good reports coming in on the athletic talented righthander he joins the board. Under the radar righthanders with UCSB commitments tend to be very interesting players to follow and don't be surprised if we see a jump out of Moran now that he is ranked.
+ Ryan Severns SS - Etiwanda - UCSB Commit (Now Ranked: 224)
Severns is a talented defender at SS who shows actions, body control and a solid arm to project to stick on the dirt long term even if a move off of SS comes in his future. He has put together a strong 2024 calendar year and likely should have been on this board sooner, but now that he is ranked, the RH hitter out of the Inland Empire has every opportunity to make a rise up the board in the coming months.
+ Drake Brito RHP - Irvine - Cal Baptist Commit (Now Ranked: 248)
Brito picked up a Cal Baptist commitment early in his JR. season and may have been a lesser known name in some circles, but with the reports coming in on this talened 6' 195 lbs. righthander out of the Orange County area cemented his opportunity to join the rankings at 246.
+ Jack Bourcher 3B - Mission Viejo - USD Commit (Now Ranked: 258)
Bourcher checks in with a solid athletic frame at 6'2 195 lbs. with a loud offensive profile and INF dirt long term actions to his defensive profile. His fall has been as impressive as his tools with the reviews coming in on him and helps the USD commit join the rankings for the first time at 256.
+ Andy Carillo RHP - Buena - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 294)
Carrillo shows a consistent mid 80's FB which at times will bump the upper 80's while touching 90 from a strong 6'3 frame and adds a quality breaking ball with feel for an emerging CHG. Carrillo has flashed his potential for Steven Hardesty on a couple live looks and after some good reviews on his fall joins the rankings for the first time.
+ Joey Monetti C - West Hills - SDSU Commit (Now Ranked: 312)
Monetti is another San Diego name who has popped up with some very good reports coming in and the San Diego State commit now finds himself on the rankings board for the first time.
+ Owen Smyth LHP - Cathedral Catholic - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 321)
A mid 80's lefthander out of San Diego with some deception to his operation who figures to be a key piece to the success of Cathedral Catholic in San Diego in spring.
+ Marcus Mickle OF - St. Marys - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 327)
Mickle is a wiry athletic NorCal RH hitting OF who picked up an Area Code invite this summer and then continued to build on it this fall while the uncommitted product joins our board for the first time.
+ Broc McReynolds RHP - Del Oro - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 338)
McReynolds is on the smaller side for a righthand pitcher at around 5'10, but his arm is impressive. He featured a FB up to high 80's with life and the makings of a solid breaking ball when he toed the rubber at the NorCal Uncommitted Game this fall. With room to add strength to his frame and polish to his profile the upside for McReynolds is interesting and he may see a rise up the board in the future.
+ Mason Berlinger LHP/OF - Westlake - Uncommitted (Now Ranked: 340)
Berlinger was a name generating some buzz in the Ventura County area as he looks to take a more prominent role with the Westlake program after contributing in more of a role player capacity in 2024. With a clean delivery from the left side on the mound, and feel for the strike zone with a quality pitch mix, he's also shows a corner OF defender profile with an intriguing LH bat at the plate. Berlinger was a standout at the Ventura County Uncommitted Games. With a 6'2 180 lbs. frame, two-way potential, and a solid fall performances, Berlinger will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his ability on the SoCal baseball scene in the months ahead.
