In 2019 the Prep Baseball California staff ran the first ever California State Games and now for the 6th straight year the Prep Baseball California staff prepares to run this premier Invite-Only event at Fullerton College. This event targets bringing top players from the '25-'28 class together in one location at the conclusion of the summer circuit of showcases and tournaments. Now after months of behind the scenes work preparing for these top players to all come together and show their abilities in a unique Prep Baseball California setting the California State Games are almost upon us.
Our yearly schedule at Prep Baseball California features a wide variety of events from the: Open ID series (Preseason, Rising Stars & Summer) to our Invite-Only events like the; Preseason All-State (SoCal Underclass, SoCal Upperclass & NorCal), Rising Stars Game, Future Games Tryouts (Orange County & Ventura County) and the ProCase West. In addition to these events our staff is on the scouting trail throughout the High School baseball season, Summer/Fall/Winter High School and Tournament season and other opportunities to evaluate as many talented California prep baseball players for their chance at the California State Games. With every player in attendance having been directly invited or having their invite-request approved by the Prep Baseball California staff the talent headed to Orange County in early August is sure to make for outstanding competition throughout the 3 day California State Games event.
The collection of talent that will be on displays includes commits in the '25-'26 classes to numerous top uncommitted players across the '25-26 class with many rising talents in the '27-'28 classes. The event is being held on the final full recruiting for NCAA D1 contact period for those coaches to be in attendance plus we anticipate the highly competitive D2-D3-NAIA-JUCO college programs in the state of California and potentially MLB to be out in force to put their eyes on this group of players.
