SAN DIEGO SWING: ALL-PROSPECT TEAM & FAB FIVE

San Diego Section high school baseball has long been an area rich with talent, funneling players to the Major Leagues for years such as all time greats Ted Williams (Hoover), Graig Nettles (San Diego) and Bob Boone (Crawford) to modern-day stars Stephen Strasburg (West Hills), Adam Jones (Morse) and Cole Hamels (Rancho Bernardo).

After scouting sixty games this past season and with the conclusion of the 2019 San Diego Section season, I present the 25 man all-prospect and fab five freshman roster. Detailed notes, internal and external discussions, in depth statistical analysis, projection and potential, and pure talent alone helped determine this roster.
