SOCAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With HS baseball well underway all across SoCal we have been privy to several standout performances in the early goings of the season. Because of the amount of standout performances around the region choosing one player for the weekly honor was quite difficult.  

Congratulations are in order for Sophomore Tyler Bellerose out of Huntington Beach HS as he has been awarded the SoCal Player of the Week for the week of March 27th - April 1st, 2023. 

Bellerose, a Pepperdine commit and one of our standout performers from our Preseason Invitational, had a huge week on the mound on one of the biggest stages at the NHSI out in Cary, NC. He made 2 appearances in the tournament throwing a total of 9 innings giving up 1ER/3H/9K against some of the best competition in the country. One of those appearances was in the championship against #16 JSerra where he threw 6 innings of 1R ball. Bellerose has proven himself this spring to be one of the top arms in his class. His FB is one that regularly sits in the mid-high 80s and he has a hammer CB that has produced a lot of chase/whiff. Below is some video from his outing at our Preseason Invitational.
