NOVATO, CA - Ben Cohen is a 6-foot-0 170-pound sophomore RHP from Redwood High School in Larkspur (CA). Early in the season I saw Redwood scrimmage but didn't see Cohen pitch in that game. His coach, long time friend Mike Firenzi, gave me some intel about his young right-hander as we chatted during the game. He was frank with me, said that Cohen is a good young arm, still learning his craft, but has plenty of talent. Initial report was that I'd likely see 84-86 mph or so and a good arm.
