Game Notes (CA): Washington at San Ramon Valley

Blaine Clemmens
Northern California Director of Scouting

DANVILLE, CA - Washington (Fremont) HS head coach Michael Sewell and I had been communicating about a few of his players he wanted PBR to see, so on a sunny Saturday morning (3/16/19) I took the trip to Danville to see his team take on the San Ramon Valley Wolves. Of particular interest was Washington's starting pitcher, 2020 RHP Kyle Bratset, a San Jose State commit, as well as uncommitted 2020 CF Damian Stone, two players I'd not laid eyes on yet. For SRV, I was very familiar with their top players (O'Hara, Facteau, Griffey, Grant) and always look forward to seeing them play.

Video is of the #PBRbombsquad grand slam hit by Stone to give his team a 5-0 lead, in a game that San Ramon Valley eventually won 7-6 in the bottom of the 8th inning. Reports/video on Bratset, Stone, O'Hara, Grant as well as notes on Facteau, Griffey, and Washington catcher Niko Lombardi. Facteau, Stone, and Lombardi are uncommitted.
