East vs. West (MLB Draft Prospects)
February 21, 2023
East vs. West
Florida vs. California
No two states produce more Big Leaguers, and that notion trickles down all the way into the youth levels: players in the Golden and Sunshine states can ball. So, when mapping out a plan of attack for seeing the most prospects at one time to start the spring, the monumental kickoff tournaments that PBR California and PBR Florida have established were easy to circle. Even better, their overlapping schedule allowed for a coast-to-coast (Disney World to DisneyLand) immediate viewing.
One week with 3000+ miles connecting arguably 30+ future Day 1 draft picks along with a full collection of nationally ranked programs stocked with talented commitments. With nearly 100 MLB scouts including cross-checkers, scouting directors, and special assistants, each event was a pristine viewing opportunity to see the future stars of the game.
But who was better? Where is there more talent? For that, keep reading below.
