TEAM OUTLOOK
After a successful 2023 season, in which the Pirates made an appearance in the CIF-CCS, Division 5 Section Tournament, they are already off to a quality start in 2023. ‘24 Carlos Cruz is one of the senior leaders on this team and he is expected to be a lockdown defender up-the-middle for the Pirates, while also providing some pull side pop from a smooth right-handed swing.
As for juniors, ‘25 Cole McCombs will be making two-way contributions all season long. Fellow junior, ‘25 Jaxson Hoye is another two-way to know on this team, and he certainly provides an intimidating presence at 6-foot-3, 215-pounds. Rounding out the junior crop is ‘25 Joey Raffo, who will also be a big part on both sides of the ball for the Pirates.
Coach Joseph Allegri’s Expectations: “Our goal this year is to win league and get back to CCS playoffs.”
