TEAM OUTLOOK
Archbishop Riordan will feature a young squad heading into the 2024 season—one looking to learn from a 11-18 overall record from 2023. While the Crusaders don’t return a ton of startings from last year’s group, the team presents some talent across the board.
The group out of the Bay Area is anchored by their junior class—led by ‘25 Chase Oliver, who enjoyed a strong fall at the plate. He returns as a name-to-know in the 2025 class for the Crusaders. He is joined by ‘25 Colton Parenti, another right-handed hitter who has shown well for Archbishop Riordan in the past.
The Crusaders will continue to lean on those juniors, and multiple underclassmen to find success in the regular season. While they chase teams such as Valley Christian and St. Francis in the West Catholic Athletic League, this season looks to be one of growth and experience for head coach Brian Ceinar and Archbishop Riordan.
Coach Brian Ceinar’s Expectations: “We will be a good young junior heavy team with some good talent that love to compete. ”
