On Tuesday, September 24th, Prep Baseball Report Arizona hosted the Unsigned Senior at Grand Canyon University home of the Lopes in, Phoenix AZ. The Unsigned Senior event is an open event held for uncommitted prospects in the 2025 classes in the state of Arizona, giving the players the chance to showcase their skills in front of the PBR Arizona Staff using state-of-the-art technology on field. 

Today, we’ll start by giving you the Top Performers from the Unsigned Senior, which we like to call Quick Hits. Ganon Dwyer LHP / 1B / Catalina Foothills, AZ / 2025

Ganon Dwyer, a standout first baseman and left-handed pitcher from Catalina Foothills, recently reopened his recruiting process from the University of Arizona after a strong summer season. Dwyer is a two-way talent known for his impressive skills on both sides of the field. At the plate, he has a powerful left-handed swing, displaying significant power potential, especially to the pull side. On the mound, Dwyer commands the zone with a three-pitch mix, with his fastball sitting in the mid-to-upper 80s. His ability to pound the zone and remain effective on the mound has made him a key player to watch. Dwyer was a standout performer at the recent Prep Baseball Unsigned Senior event, further solidifying his status as one of the top uncommitted prospects in the region.

 

 

Dylan Hunsaker LHP / 1B / Apache Junction, AZ / 2025

Dylan Hunsaker, a left-handed pitcher from Apache Junction, was the standout arm on the mound Tuesday night, impressing with his electric stuff. Hunsaker flashed an 85-87 mph fastball, topping out at 88 mph, with notable late sink. His easy, whip-like arm action from a mid-three-quarter slot added to his deception, and he complemented his fastball with a sharp breaking ball that had late bite. Hunsaker’s performance showcased his potential as a high-impact arm, drawing attention with his smooth delivery and command of his arsenal. We look forward to following Hunsaker this spring in his senior high school season. 

 

 

Trevor Myer OF / Greenway, AZ / 2025

Trevor Myer, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound outfielder from Greenway High School, delivered an eye-catching performance at last night’s Prep Baseball Unsigned Senior event. During the BP portion, Myer put on a power display, launching multiple balls deep to the big part of the field. He led in several key categories, including an average exit velocity of 99 mph, a peak distance of 400 feet, and an impressive average distance of 296 feet. Myer’s tall stance, quick flat bat path, and high finish make him a consistent power threat at the plate, and his performance further solidified his status as one of the top unsigned seniors.

 

 

Austin Kirkpatrick 3B / 1B / Casteel, AZ / 2025

Austin Kirkpatrick, an uncommitted 2025 corner infielder from Casteel High School, made a strong impression at Tuesday night’s event with his performance at the plate. The left-handed hitter showcased his immense power potential, driving the ball with authority from a tall, athletic stance. His swing, characterized by intent and bat speed through the zone, produced the highest exit velocity of the night at 102.7 mph. Kirkpatrick’s pop from the left side and his ability to consistently make hard contact make him a standout prospect to watch as he continues his recruitment process.

 

 

Dallas Hairston / Casteel, AZ / 2025

Dallas Hairston, an uncommitted 2025 prospect from Casteel High School, stood out as perhaps the most well-rounded player at Tuesday night’s Uncommitted Senior event. Displaying impressive skills on both sides of the ball, Hairston’s arm strength was evident with an 87 mph throw from the outfield, showcasing his defensive potential. At the plate, Hairston exhibited "hitterish" qualities, with smooth bat speed and a clean path that is short to the ball and long through the zone, making consistent and solid contact. With his balanced skill set, Hairston is a high-follow prospect for Arizona staff, likely to secure a commitment in the coming months.

 

 

Bode Acton 1B / OF / Verrado, AZ / 2025

Bode Acton, a 2025 left-handed hitting first baseman and outfielder from Verrado High School, showcased his hitting prowess during a standout round of BP at the recent event. The L/L prospect impressed with his short, quick load and smooth, flat bat path, consistently driving line drives to the big part of the field. Acton’s ability to stay balanced and work gap-to-gap with ease makes him a reliable hitter with strong contact skills. His performance highlighted his potential at the plate, making him a prospect to watch as he continues to develop.

 

 

Mark Duguid OF / 1B / Liberty, AZ / 2025

Mark Duguid, a 2025 uncommitted corner infielder and outfielder from Liberty High School, impressed with his highly athletic 6-foot-4, 196-pound frame and his performance at the plate. Duguid showcased a balanced setup and a flat bat path, hinting at even more power potential to come. He recorded a max exit velocity of 99.4 mph, the fifth-highest of the event, underscoring his ability to drive the ball with authority. With his physical tools and developing power, Duguid is a promising prospect who will be closely followed as he continues to refine his game.

 

 

Gavin Bair OF / Highland, AZ / 2025

Gavin Bair, an uncommitted outfielder from Highland High School, showcased his athleticism at the Unsigned Senior event on Tuesday night. Bair ran a sub-7 60-yard dash, demonstrating his speed, and showed off a strong arm in the outfield with throws clocked at 88 mph. At the plate, the left-handed hitter impressed with a simple, open stance and a smooth step load, producing a flat bat path that generated easy pop off the barrel. Bair recorded a max exit velocity of 95.1 mph, further solidifying his potential as a well-rounded prospect with tools on both sides of the ball.

 

 

Isaac Flores 1B / RHP / Centennial, AZ / 2025

Isaac Flores, an uncommitted senior from Centennial High School, made a strong impression as a two-way prospect at the Unsigned Senior event on Tuesday night. At the plate, Flores displayed elite bat speed and significant power, recording a max exit velocity of 101.2 mph, the third highest of the event. His tall stance, easy step-in load, and flat, aggressive swing path allowed him to consistently drive the ball with authority. On the mound, Flores was equally impressive, working with a three-pitch mix and filling the zone with strikes. His fastball sat in the low to mid-80s, showcasing his ability to command both sides of the game.
