New Mexico is set to make its mark on the Prep Baseball scene with the launch of the first-ever Prep Baseball New Mexico State Games. Scheduled for November 2-3, 2024, at Rio Rancho High School, this highly anticipated event aims to bring together some of the top high school baseball talent in the state. Open to prospects from the class of 2025 through 2029, the event promises to be a showcase of skill, competition, and opportunity.

The mission of the New Mexico State Games is clear: to gather the best high school baseball talent in one location, providing a platform for players to showcase their abilities and gain exposure. Participants will not only have the chance to demonstrate their skills in a showcase format but will also be placed on teams for competitive gameplay. This dual approach ensures that every player gets a comprehensive evaluation, both individually and in a team setting.

The first day of the event will include a workout session utilizing cutting-edge technology such as Trackman, Blast, Swift, and Visual Edge. These tools will help evaluate the players’ performance and provide data-driven insights into their abilities. By incorporating this advanced technology, Prep Baseball aims to deliver a high-quality experience that highlights the best talent in New Mexico.

Importantly, the Prep Baseball New Mexico State Games also serve as an identifier for several of Prep Baseball’s top national events, including the Future Games, West Coast Games, West Coast ProCase, and the Prep Baseball All-American Game. This event could be a stepping stone for New Mexico's young athletes to gain national attention and take their baseball careers to the next level.
