FULL TOP 100 LIST

1.

Boston Kellner SS / 3B / Hamilton, AZ / 2025

Boston Kellner, a 2025 graduate from Hamilton High School, has firmly established himself as the top player in Arizona for the 2025 class. A transfer from Colorado, Kellner quickly made his mark in Arizona after moving for his junior season, living up to the considerable hype surrounding his name. Originally committed to the University of Louisville, he has since reopened his recruitment, making him one of the most sought-after uncommitted prospects in the nation. Kellner is a true two-way talent, boasting a complete skill set at the plate that includes the ability to hit for both average and power, complemented by exceptional footspeed. His first season with Hamilton in 2024 was nothing short of spectacular, as he slashed .462 with 48 hits, 29 RBIs, 14 doubles, a triple, and 12 home runs—all while leading off for one of the top high school programs in the state. As he enters his senior season, we look forward to following Boston's success and where he will decide to take his career after high school.

2.

Brett Crossland RHP / Mountain Pointe, AZ / 2025

Brett Crossland, the #2 prospect in the Prep Baseball Arizona rankings update, is a dominant right-handed pitcher out of Mountain Pointe High School. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, Crossland has a physical presence on the mound that is matched by his elite pitching arsenal. His fastball consistently sits in the 90-95 mph range, making it one of the most powerful in the state, while his offspeed pitches add a layer of deception that leaves hitters guessing. The University of Texas commit, Crossland has demonstrated his ability to overpower opponents with a 2.24 ERA and an impressive 94 strikeouts over 56.1 innings pitched in the 2024 season. His performance has cemented him as the top draft prospect on the mound in Arizona, where he serves as the ace of the Mountain Pointe pitching staff. Crossland's combination of size, velocity, and pitch arsinal has marked him as force to be reckoned with, and he is poised to continue dominating at the next level and beyond.

3.

Jack Lafflam RHP / Brophy College Prep, AZ / 2025

Jack Lafflam, the #3 prospect in the updated Prep Baseball Arizona Rankings, is a right-handed pitcher out of Brophy High School who has committed to the University of Arizona. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 170 pounds, Lafflam has a projectable frame that hints at further physical development, which could translate into even more velocity as he matures. His fastball already sits consistently in the low 90s, with the ability to touch the mid-90s, making him a formidable presence on the mound. His long, lanky build gives him natural leverage and extension, adding to the perceived velocity and making his pitches even more challenging for hitters to pick up. As Lafflam enters his senior season, the key for him will be refining his command. If he can harness his control and continue to develop his secondary offerings, he has the potential to become one of the most feared pitchers in the state. Lafflam’s combination of size, velocity, and projectability makes him a high-ceiling prospect with significant upside as he prepares to take the next step in his baseball career.

4.

Caleb Danzeisen OF / C / VALLEY CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS, AZ / 2025

Caleb Danzeisen, the #4 prospect in the updated post-summer Prep Baseball Arizona rankings, is a standout player from Valley Christian High School, the reigning 3A state champions. As a versatile catcher and outfielder, Danzeisen has committed to the University of Arizona, and his 2024 season solidified his reputation as one of the top hitters in the state. He posted remarkable offensive numbers, hitting .524 with 42 RBIs, 11 doubles, 2 triples, and 7 home runs, making him a crucial part of the Trojans' success. His power from the left side was further showcased at this summer’s West Coast Pro Case, where he continued to impress scouts with his hitting prowess. While his long-term position remains uncertain, one thing is clear: Danzeisen’s bat will make a significant impact wherever he plays. His ability to drive the ball with authority and his versatility in the field make him one of Arizona's most exciting prospects heading into the next level.

5.

Joe Forbes C / 1B / Mountain Ridge High School, AZ / 2025

Joe Forbes, ranked as the #5 prospect in the updated Prep Baseball Arizona rankings, is a standout catcher from Mountain Ridge High School who has committed to the University of Arizona. Forbes has made a name for himself as one of the premier catchers in the state, showing significant improvement behind the plate during his junior season. His strong arm and exceptional ability to manage a pitching staff have set him apart defensively, making him a reliable presence behind the dish. Offensively, Forbes has been a consistent contributor, hitting .396 this past season with 2 home runs, which underscores his value as a dual-threat player. His performance has been instrumental for the Mountain Lions, and his skills were further recognized when he participated in this year's West Coast Pro Case, which brought together the top prospects from across the West Coast.
