Uncommitted Spotlight: '21 C Andrew Stucky
May 13, 2020
We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at 2021 C Andrew Stucky (Canyon Del Oro).
Stucky is currently ranked No. 35 overall in the state of AZ in the 2021 class; No.4 as a catcher. He participated as a member of Team Arizona last summer in the 2019 Future Games. At 6-foot 185-pounds, he has as sturdy frame with broad shoulders, some strength & athleticism. Has shown power potential with some big hits at the Future Games and throughout our coverage over the last year. He's an above average receiver with soft hands. We had a chance to see him get under the ball thrown from a pitcher with solid sinking action. We haven't recorded any arm measurable's recently but his arm should develop with time and he gains more feel for the position. Stucky's bat combined with handling of pitchers should make for a strong follow into the summer.
