Trackman Pitching: #TEAMARIZONA
August 10, 2020
The 2020 Future Games has officially come to a close. Team Arizona made it to Emerson, GA where the event is located at the LakePoint Sports Complex, widely considered as the best venue in the country for amateur baseball in the country. PBR selected some of the top uncommitted 2022 & 2023 grad prospects from around the country to compete in this prestigious event. Team Arizona brought 19 players from across the state that was looking to show off their talent to the rest of the nation, PBR scouting staff and college coaches from around the country. All games were live streamed through Playsight on the Future Games homepage where scouts could follow prospective athletes throughout the event.
On Saturday, August 1st Team Arizona started off their schedule with a pro-style workout where they showed off some of their individuals tools and recorded measurable statistics. These sessions were videotaped and will go on individual PBR profile pages along with showcase data and scouting notes throughout the week. After the workout portion completes, teams spend the next two days competing in live game action versus the other PBR select teams from around the country. Team Arizona started off its live game action on Day Two, squaring off with Team California & Team PNW. Arizona had 10 pitchers total throw at the event with solid performances across the board.
Today, we will be breaking down Team Arizona's pitching from the second day of live action. We will be moving onto game three where four pitchers took the hill versus Team Nevada:
