The Invite-Only Preseason All State Games took place Sunday, January 27 at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, home of the Arizona State Sun Devils. The event included many intriguing prospects and some new names, that will stand out in the near future. Today, we continue the event coverage with our catching analysis

1/27/19 Uncommitted Uses leg kick well for timing, hanging in the air until its his time to move forward into the swing. Ball really jumps off his bat, put on an impressive show in BP. Creates easy bat speed getting up to 91 MPH for his exit velo without much effort. Arm strength was 78 MPH and pop time at 1.91-2.12. Gains a lot of ground to 2B, potentially adding some time to his pop time with his arm as strong at it is.

1/27/19 Uncommitted 5’ 7 170-pound compact frame. Jimenez is physical with everything he does. 95 MPH exit velo and 80 MPH from the crouch. Leg lift to load into back side to create everything he can out of his frame, showing pull side pop. His height plays to his advantage behind the plate, simple and quick actions are behind his 1.96 pop time with accuracy and good carry
