'22 OF/LHP Alessandro Castro from Pusch Ridge Christian Academy joins Team Arizona for the 2020 PBR Future Games.

2022 OF/LHP Alessandro Castro (Pusch Ridge Christian Academy)- Castro attended our Top Prospect in the summer of 2019 where made an impression on our PBR Arizona staff. He once again stood out at the event in 2020 where he has continued to progress. At 6-foot 170-pounds, Castro has an athletic projectable body with room to add strength. His left-handed swing with repeatability gives him the ability to consistently barrel up the baseball. His power will continue to improve as he makes physical gains. In the OF, he shows athletic actions tracking down the ball with 87mph arm strength. He ran a 7.12 60-yard dash on the day with a sprained ankle. Castro also shows some two-way potential working his FB 80-83mph with more in the tank.  We are excited to have Castro on #TEAMARIZONA for the PBR Future Games.
