Early Winter Baseball
December 23, 2019
Heading into the holiday season, the majority of the country has been forced in doors to train and get ready for the spring. However, some of the warmer regions refuse to say goodbye to baseball season, and continue to get after it under the sun. As 2020 quickly approaches, here is a look at some of the news that National Crosschecker, Shooter Hunt, was sifting through late in the fall and into the early winter:
OVERALL RANKINGS:
2023 Overall
Warm Weather Baseball:
November, and especially the post-Thanksgiving weather, may have shut down outdoor action up north, but the players in Florida, southern California, and Nevada were still getting after it. A host of events including the prestigious JuCo Super Showcase and travel tryouts had the PBR Florida crew busy, even into December, and down in SoCal, scouting director, Les Lukach was on hand to check the prestigious Desert Classic, and area scout, Steve Doherty, checked in from the Austin Gorrell Classic. Meanwhile, new Nevada scouting director, Brett Harrison, continued to track high school play in the Las Vegas area.
Florida:
+ JuCo Super Showcase
+ Top Tier Roos
+ Midland Swarm
