PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Still: I chose New Mexico because it felt like the right fit for me. The coaches were amazing, the campus was great, and the facilities are definitely able to help me progress as a player both strength and skill wise.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Still: Eastern Michigan, University of Utah, Loyola Marymount, and Xavier were the schools I was talking to mostly besides UNM.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Still: I believe UNM saw me last summer at a tournament and then started to follow my progress. Coach Causey and Coach Coyne have been communicating with me a lot and I've developed a great relationship with them both whether it's talking about baseball or just life in general.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Still: There is some relief because now I can move on to my next step. Get better and better every day to eventually do great for New Mexico and not have to think about where I'm going to school anymore.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Still: The Coaches are amazing, I know that they will help me develop and give me every chance to be the best player I can be.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Still: My dad has helped me a ton, taking me to practices as a kid all the way to paying for new gear. He also was a pitcher in college so he helps me with my mechanics once in awhile to keep me locked in.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Still: I expected it to be harder than it was, playing with T-Rex you get a lot of good looks from schools and if you compete well with them during those times it helps a lot.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Still: The coaching staff wants me to compete, my goal is to earn a solid spot on the staff and contribute to the team as much as possible as a freshman.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Still: My most memorable moment in baseball up to date is probably when I played for Team Arizona in Georgia for the Futures games. Seeing all those scouts was absolutely crazy.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Still: The best player I've competed against is Brock Selvidge.
