The Prep Baseball Classic at LakePoint marked our 4th tournament of the summer. Our scouting staff was out in full force covering games all week long at the park. We have quick hit style notes from each day with video of the prospect each day. Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3. Now lets take a deeper look at some prospects that our scouts saw with full breakdowns of the players they saw. 

Hudson Campbell, LHP/OF, Glenwood HS (GA), 2026
Uncommitted. Intriguing start from the left-side on Friday night. Made quick work in six innings giving up only 1 hit that wasn’t an infield single with zero ER. Working from the stretch, utilized a strong lower-half. FB topped at 83 while hitting 82 sporadically in the 3rd and 4th innings, sitting around 81-80 throwing 2k with ease. CV had a steep 12/6 break with depth that collected more than 9 whiffs throughout the evening. Had a solid day at the plate, exudes confidence in the box, and has good pitch recognition. Lead-off guy. Went 2-for-3 with two singles, and 2 RBI’s. Basic load, quick bat/hand speed. Always seems to find a way to be on base. Looking to crack the top 100 players in the state for the 2026 class. A high follow for the summer.

Jared Givins, 1B/3B, Greater Atlanta Christian HS, 2026
Uncommitted. Solid day at the plate going 2-for-3 with a loud barrel to clear the bases in the top of the first inning on Friday afternoon. Two solid knocks, one to deep left-center field, and another through the 3-4 hole into right-field. Semi-wide stance at the plate, loose hands, shows quick bat speed and has a present feel for the barrel. Hitting in the 5-spot, he had great at-bats, battled deep into counts and made good adjustments with two strikes.

Nolen Taylor, IF/OF/RHP, Thomas County Central HS, 2026
Uncommitted. An all around player Saturday morning. Started at 2B then moved into RF where he got to flash the glove and tracking ability, then came in to close the last two innings. FB topped at 82 but sat consistently at 80. CV collected a good amount of swing and misses while keeping hitters honest. CH was thrown sporadically at 77-76 with depth, really had hitters off-balanced and early for pop-fly outs and roll-over ground outs. Good day at the plate went 1-for-2 with a BB. Stays in his lower-half while showing quickness within the barrel. Quiet player, but makes plays and battles deep into counts. High off a hot spring with Thomas County Central and their state playoff run, looking to keep it rolling this summer.

Maddox Waller, C/3B, Sequoyah HS, 2026
Uncommitted. Physical 6-foot-3, 220 pound frame carries tons of pop and power from the right side. Aggressive approaches on all three at-bats. Worked a two-strike count for a 358 foot bomb, 93 mph off the bat. Matched plane on another barrel right to the center-fielder that was 90 mph off the bat. Generated little back-spin on hard contact. Good adjustments with two-strikes, just a little bit of a wider stance, matched with a small momentum shifting load that transfers lots of power into the ball. Tight-end in football, big body, athletic behind the dish with good arm strength.

Trey Luke, LHP/OF, Rockmart HS, 2026
Uncommitted, toolsy player that can do it all and do it well. Continuing his hot summer Luke continues to impress at the play this week showing the ability to lead off well and hit for power. Luke also has speed that allows him to leg out infield hits and turn singles into doubles. More impressively this weekend Luke dominated on the mound throwing a 7IP 2H 0R complete game shut out.

Neyland Hulsey, C/3B, Rockmart HS, 2026.
Uncommitted physical 5’10” 185 pound frame is a unit behind the plate and at the dish. Neyland has showed out all summer with the hit tool and ability to go backside well aswell elevate the ball. Hulsey has very quick hands that allow him to get to almost any pitch. He also is a gamer behind the plate catching majority of the innings this weekend for TL10 and doing so well.

Seth Geter, 2B/SS, Maynard Jackson HS (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. Solid frame at 5’10 165 with lots of power from the right side. Smooth swing that generates a lot of power from his strong lower half. He does a great job getting his hands to the ball and keeping the barrel through the zone for a long time. He is consistently able to elevate the ball and drive it to the outfield.

Hudson Forrest, SS/RHP, Mount Vernon Presbyterian (GA), 2026
Uncommitted. This can flat out hit, this weekend he led the entire tournament with 11 base knocks. Keeps a nice simple approach and hits the ball where it's pitched and does not try to do too much. In the semis he went 3 for 3 with 2 singles and a double, loves to use all parts of the field and is very quick on the basepaths. Projectable frame at 6’0 165 that will continue to fill out as he continues to develop and get stronger.

Connor Hicks, RHP/1B, Legacy HS (CO), 2025
Uncommitted. With a big solid frame at 6’3 200 he has immense power to all parts of the field. Beautiful load with quick hands allows him to get to breaking balls consistently and also allows him to adjust to the fast ball. Very strong with loud contact all weekend, had one double that hit off the base of the LCF wall that left the bat at 92.9 exit velocity. Great player in the state of Colorado that will continue to get better as he continues to develop.

Jaiden Spencer, SS/OF, North Atlanta HS (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. Creates great separation with a high leg kick that allows him to generate a ton of power and bat speed. He stays connected through his load and keeps a strong front side. He is very consistent in his approach, likes to use all parts of the field. Also creates havoc on the base paths, sub 7 runner.

William Dickens, 1B/LHP, Farragut HS (TN), 2026
Uncommitted. Simple approach with quick hands and bat speed that has power to all parts of the field. Wide stance that allows him to generate a ton of power through his strong lower half. It was a very solid weekend for Dickens as he was consistently hitting the ball hard for loud contact. Strong frame at 6’2 195 with plenty of more room to continue to add on as he continues to develop and grow as an athlete.

Braden Abernathy, 2B/OF, Buckhorn HS (AL), 2025
Uncommitted. In his final game on Monday Abernathy went 4 for 4 at the plate with a backside triple and two singles that left the bat at 90+ exit velocity. Big frame at 6’2 175 with a ton of power to all parts of the field. Very strong lower half and does a great job getting the barrel through the zone. He can also move around the bases very well. 6.88 runner. Absolute gamer.

Troy Barber, OF, South Forsyth HS, 2026
Uncommitted. Barber hits out of the leadoff spot for Georgia Jackets and gives good production out of that spot. He showed his hit tool with an easy backside double to LCF with 2 strikes at one point, and flashed his wheels in the process as well. Barber has a big weight transfer in his load, but he is able to do so without completely selling out for power. He stays connected through the load and keeps a strong front side. Most importantly, Barber plays hard and with his hair on fire every pitch. Absolute gamer.

Luke Treece, C/3B, Coalfield HS (TN), 2025
Lee University Commit. There is present power in Treece’s bat as he had multiple hits over 90 mph in one game this weekend. Very quick bat through the zone and has the ability to get his hands in on any pitch. He also showed the ability to get on plane with with a pitch up or down in the zone. Even at his currently strong 6’0” 200 lb frame, Treece still has room to continue to get stronger and get more power in his bat. He is also very solid behind the plate, controlling pitchers and runners well. Exciting player.

Ean Marria, 3B, Sequoyah HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Marria is one of the more exciting uncommitted guys in Georgia this summer. He continued to show his serious power as he slugged at a high level all weekend. In one game, he laced a 93.8 EV double that easily burnt the left fielder and got to the fence quickly. He then followed that up with a game where he hit a double down the LF line, and later a loud home run to the pull side as well. The power is very present and noticeable in Marria’s bat, and he should continue to improve as the summer goes along.

Sam Moore, RHP, North Forsyth HS, 2026
Uncommitted. Moore came out firing in his outing for the Georgia Jackets. Easily sitting in the mid to upper 80’s with his FB and working it up to 89 mph a couple times. Elevated the fastball easily and worked the offspeed pitches off of it. He does not completely sell out for his velocity and he uses his strong lower half well. Already a solid frame at 6’0” 195 lbs, but will continue to grow and get stronger, which will bring along more velocity and power. Effortless and repeatable mechanics with his high power stuff makes Moore a very exciting follow.

Davis Nichols, C/3B, Milton High School, 2026
Uncommitted, Had a great day on Monday going 3-3. Had a single, double, and triple. Showed off the power with all gap hits. Has a smooth swing and does a good job with keeping the barrel through the zone. Strong lower body of good speed around the bases.

Adan Cifuentes, 2B/SS, Cherokee High School, 2026
Uncommitted, Good frame 5’10’’ 165 with good power. Quick hands to help with the barrel off the bat. Got an RBI 3B through the gap to show off his power and quickness around the bases. Still young and will continue to learn and get stronger.

Hudson Will, OF/RHP, Cherokee High School, 2027
Uncommitted, Had a great weekend with multiple good games. Showed off his power this weekend with multiple gap hits for extra bases. Got a double through the gap 95 EV and a triple through the gap. Strong lower body and quick around the bases.

Gavin Davis, 3B/RHP, Fannin County High School, 2025
Uncommitted, Had a great outing on the mound on Saturday. Had a complete game with only giving up 1H and 1R. Had great confidence on the mound all game and attacked the box very well. FB(81-84)85, BB(77-78)79, CB(66-71) showed good presents on the mound and will continue to grow in the future.

Jonah Winton, INF, Model HS, 2027
Uncommitted, Decent frame at 6’0” 160 with plenty of room to fill out, but is still able to generate plenty of power. Will fill out more as he continues to get older and stronger. Really smooth swing and keeps his barrel through the plane really well. Continues to find and barrels and rack up hits every single tournament.

Robert Yagyu, 3B/RHP, Rockmart HS, 2025
Uncommitted, Good frame at 6’1” 200 with lots of power. Really quick hands that allows him to generate a lot of power and be able to get his bat through the zone quickly. Had a solid weekend at the plate collecting hits throughout the weekend and getting timely hits to drive in runners.

Thomas Thigpen, 1B/3B. Fayette County HS, 2027
Uncommitted. What a massive start to the summer it has been for Thigpen. After being a recent standout at Georgia State Games, Thigpen carried over his torrid pace into the Prep Baseball Classic. Collecting a huge knock late in the game from the left side, against the Slammer’, in a two-strike count. Thigpen split the left-center field gap perfectly and motored around for a triple. Then, followed up the triple by smoking a single through the left-side. Thigpen would then come around to score the go-ahead run. The huge day did not stop there though, the next day Thigpen delivered once again in a tie-game in the last inning, this time from the right-side. Leading off the inning, Thigpen found himself in a two-strike count and smoked one into the left-center field gap, once again sprinting around for a triple. Then stealing home on a passed ball to win the game. Thigpen is the definition of clutch as he always seemingly delivers when the lights are the brightest. The rising sophomore shows tremendous power upside from both sides of the plate coupled with creating havoc on the bases. Thigpen will be a name to watch over the summer and into the spring as the upside is massive.

Shivan Patel, RHP/2B, Mary Persons HS, 2025
Uncommitted. Patel was a standout on Saturday in the Prep Baseball Classic. Showing dominance on the mound. Flashing some wicked stuff, Patel worked from the sub arm angle and from over the top. Patel has hitters off-balance using his deceptive arm angle and messes with hitters timing when throwing from over the top as well. Working with a dynamic four-pitch mix. Sitting at 76-78 on the SNK/FB, with arm-side run and late downward bite on the sinker. Also working in a mid 60’s CB/SL, where the curveball falls off the table. Patel not only made quick work of the batters he faced in the short relief appearance but picked up a hit in the bottom half of the inning. Showing a good feel for the barrel through the zone. The right-handed pitcher is a must-see when on the mound and will be an intriguing name to watch over the summer.

Everett Grubbs, SS/RHP, Creekview HS, 2027
Uncommitted. Grubbs was on the barrel all day Sunday in the run-rule win. Picking up a backside double and a single up the middle. Displaying loose actions in the box with quiet confidence and good feel for the barrel. The right-handed hitter showed an all-fields approach with great leverage through the zone. Always on time, as the hands stay back and explode through the zone. An athletic defender that showed off the range, with a strong arm. Will be a name to know as the frame continues to fill out.

Truitt Grubbs, OF/LHP, Creekview HS, 2028
Uncommitted. The younger brother of Everett Grubbs. Truitt was also all over the barrel in the run-rule win Sunday. The leadoff hitter is as pesky as they come at the plate. Showing a mature approach at the plate with a keen eye and a knack for getting on base. The smooth swinging lefty bat worked up the middle of the field collecting two singles. Highlighting impressive bat-to-ball with outstanding coverage of the plate. The hit-tool shined on Sunday from the ‘28 and will be a name to follow going into HS.

Esai Espinosa, 2B/SS, Riverdale Ridge HS (CO), 2027
Uncommitted. Espinosa was a standout on both sides of the ball on Sunday. Consistently showing off the pull-side juice, collecting two pull-side knocks. Showing good separation at the plate with pull-side leverage and good feel for the barrel. Espinosa was also a standout out at second base. Picked up a web gem late in a crucial game, showing off the arm, ranging to his right to step on second to get the out, then jump throwing to first to get the inning ending double play. The athleticism and arm strength were on full display from the second baseman. Espinosa epitomizes the definition of a gamer, as the tools were on display on both sides of the ball.

Casey Reitz, LHP, Upper Arlington HS (OH), 2025
Uncommitted. Reitz was very impressive in his start in the PBR Classic. After a big velo jump since the fall Reitz showed how dominate he could really be. Reitz spin rate on all three of his pitchers were way advanced. His FB was up to 2414 RPM, curveball was an antounishing 2663 RPM, and the changeup was as low as 1016 RPM. These numbers proved why Reitz was giving hitters problems all game as he wen 6.1 innings of just dominance. The curveball was impressive and was thrown in any count generating tons of swing and misses. Reitz is only going to continue his velo jump as he was consistently 83-84 T85 and held this velo the whole game. Definitely a arm that should be followed with the recent transformation.

Bradley Lenz , RHP, Veterans HS (GA), 2027
Uncommitted, 6’2” 170 pound frame that has super promising stuff and has shown it well all summer so far. Lenz uses his frame well and creates alot of torque allowing him to reach good velo numbers and hold it deep into games. He spins the FB well creating good IVB inducing pop ups and whiffs. Lenz Matches this with a hammer CB that gets whiffs and creates awkward at-bats. Big name to watch progress in the upcoming fall and into spring.

Landon Patterson, OF/RHP, Rockmart HS (GA), 2026
Patterson continues to show the impressive hit tool this summer, showing the ability to hit it to both sides of the field in any situation. Coming off a good spring with Rockmart High School patterson is solidifying himself as a name to watch on a talented TL10 team.

Makayle Moon, OF, East Forsyth (GA), 2027
Uncommitted, 5’11” 170lb wiry, athletic frame with lots of room to fill out. Moon showed an excellent feel for the barrel throughout the tournament, lacing balls all around the park. He also flashed some burgeoning power that was impressive for the 2027. The swing is smooth, with balanced actions throughout and some bat speed at present. He keeps the barrel in the zone forever, showing the ability to match plane on any pitch and hit it with authority to all fields. Really high level athlete that will continue to progress as he fills out his frame.

Cade Middleton, RHP, Pepperell (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. 6’1” 165lb frame. Lean, athletic build with room still to fill out. Was very impressive in his outing in the 17u semifinals game. He throws from a low ¾, almost sidearm slot with a clean arm action. Middleton worked the fastball mostly 85-87, topping out at 88 with tons of armside run from the lower slot. Off of the fastball, he worked a tight slider at 73-75, which flashed sharp horizontal break to the gloveside. He also mixed in a quality, firm changeup at 80-82 with depth that kept hitters off balance. Attacked the zone and competed with quality stuff throughout his outing.

Nathan Rowland, C/OF, North Paulding (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. 6’ even 190lb stocky, sturdy frame. Rowland had a solid tournament, getting some really good swings off at the dish. He utilizes a simple load throughout the swing, simply just coiling around his back hip with a minimal forward move. He has enough hand and bat speed to impact the baseball, and he was able to do just that throughout the tournament. He does a good job of keeping his hands back throughout the swing, allowing him to adjust to any pitch thrown at him. Quality athlete with some strength in the frame that impressed throughout the week.

Griffin Cline, RHP, George W. Jenkins (FL), 2025
Uncommitted. Large and lanky 6’4” 180lb frame. Really impressed in his relief stint this week. Cline showed impressive body control and athleticism with his movements down the mound. He throws from a lower ¾ arm slot with a shorter, deceptive delivery. He worked the fastball mostly 83-85, topping out at 86 with tons of run to the armside. Showed good command of it, working it to both sides of the plate with similar run on both. When he was able to run it backdoor, hitters struggled to commit, and he was able to find success. Off of the fastball, he worked a big, sweeping slider in the 70-71 range that was able to keep batters off balance and collect some ugly swings and misses. Tons of projection left in the frame.
