GARDENDALE, AL - The Birmingham Summer ID was held on Wednesday, June 26th at Gardendale High School in Gardendale, AL. This event was an open event hosting some talented prospects from the 2025-2027 classes in Alabama. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 60-yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw during a simulated bullpen and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing this week.

Nicholas Bosque, Saint Clair County (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-11, 185-pounds. Compact, physical frame.
Hit: RHH. Narrow, open stance with a small leg kick trigger. Slightly uphill path with the barrel, mostly stayed in the middle of the field. 65.1 mph bat speed with 7 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 83 max exit velocity, averaged 75.1 mph. 294’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 67.00 mph. High 3/4 slot. Short arm stroke.
Defense: 2.14-2.23 pop times. Simple, quiet setup and showed quality receiving skills
Run: 7.84 runner in the 60.

Clete OBryant, Coosa Christian (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Proportional size, athletic build.
Hit: LHH. Narrow, closed stance with a controlled load of the hands. Showed solid bat speed, present strength in the hands. Mostly pullside approach. 71.7 mph bat speed with 14 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 85.8 mph. 310’ max distance.
Arm: LH. OF - 82.00 mph. Longer arm slot, higher 3/4 slot.
Defense: pop times. Short, choppy feet attacking balls off of the bat. Fluid defensive actions.
Run: 7.81 runner in the 60.

Wyatt Williams, Thompson (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-3, 195-pounds. Physicality throughout, well-proportioned.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, athletic stance. Middle of the field approach from an uphill bat path. 70.3 mph bat speed with 9 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 91.8 mph. 344’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 86.00 mph. Over the top slot with carry.
Defense: pop times. Solid defensive actions. Controlled movements with advanced footwork.
Run: 7.09 runner in the 60.

Brady Carden, Westbrook Christian (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-4, 210-pounds. Large frame with present strength.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open setup with the feet. Tilted bat path with a mostly pullside approach. Hands work directly to contact. 66.6 mph bat speed with 20 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 90.2 mph. 355’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 84.00 mph. Showed a mostly over the top slot, ball comes out of the hand well.
Defense: pop times. Fluid footwork and easy defensive actions. Fundamentally solid in the OF.
Run: 7.36 runner in the 60.

Brady Smith, Leeds High School (AL), 2027
Positional Profile: 3B/2B
Body: 5-6, 115-pounds. Leaner frame, can add size and strength.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, athletic setup in the box. Numerous tilted line drives to the middle of the field in BP from a mostly flat bat path. 59.3 mph bat speed with 12 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 80 max exit velocity, averaged 75 mph. 266’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 74.00 mph. Higher 3/4 slot with developing arm strength.
Defense: pop times. Solid defensive actions. Really solid footwork. Clean skills.
Run: 7.56 runner in the 60.

Hunter Black, Hanceville High School (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-8, 130-pounds. Lean frame, room for growth. Physical lower half.
Hit: RHH. Athletic, balanced setup with the feet. Flater bat path, barrel stays through the hitting zone for a long time. Middle of the field approach. 58.2 mph bat speed with 6 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 67 mph. 239’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 74.00 mph. Shorter arm stroke, mostly over the top slot.
Defense: pop times. Moves well through the ball off of the bat. Solid fundamentally.
Run: 7.43 runner in the 60.

Jackson Drake, Leeds High School (AL), 2027
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-10, 130-pounds. Leaner frame with plenty of room for added size.
Hit: SH. Balanced set up, hands are set high in the stance. Uphill bat path with a definite middle of the field approach. 54.8 mph bat speed with 7 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 76 max exit velocity, averaged 69.7 mph. 250’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 75.00 mph. Over the top slot, accurate throws.
Defense: pop times. Early glove presentation, works out in front of the body.
Run: 8.02 runner in the 60.

Conner Abston, Brooks (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 5-8, 132-pounds. Build is leaner, plenty of room for added development.
Hit: RHH. Slightly open with the feet, toe-tap trigger on the front side. Mostly level bat path with an advanced middle of the field approach. Consistent line drives. 64 mph bat speed with 15 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 89 max exit velocity, averaged 75.7 mph. 276’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 81.00 mph. Shorter arm stroke, high 3/4 slot. Shows solid present arm strength.
Defense: pop times. Moves well laterally with clean defensive action. Natural instincts.
Run: 6.72 runner in the 60.

Cody Florence, Gardendale (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/OF
Body: 5-10, 145.7-pounds. Leaner athletic build with athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Open stance, looseness in the hands. Middle to backside approach, hands work directly to contact. 65.6 mph bat speed with 20 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.3 mph. 274’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 85.00 mph. Longer, high 3/4 slot with plenty of carry out of the hand.
Defense: pop times. Simple, athletic actions in the OF. Aggressive attacking balls in front of him.

Case Hill, Cherokee County High School (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-8, 150-pounds. Compact frame, athletic build.
Hit: RHH. Toe-tap trigger on the front side. Flat bat path with a mostly pullside approach. 74.6 mph bat speed with 19 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 76.3 mph. 228’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 67.00 mph. INF - 72.00 mph. Natural high 3/4 slot with developing arm strength.
Defense: 2.09-2.22 pop times. Athletic movements behind the plate. Received the borderline strike down in the zone very well.

Body: 5-10, 171.1-pounds. Physical lower half, strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Balanced setup showing a controlled load with the hands. Above-average bat speed creates carry to the pullside gap. Uphill bat path. 63.9 mph bat speed with 12 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 74.8 mph. 303’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 82.00 mph. Higher 3/4 slot with present arm strength.
Defense: pop times. Really solid actions on the infield. Works low to the ground with solid footwork, fields out front.
Run: 7.51 runner in the 60.

Connor Drake, Madison County (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-2, 170-pounds. Taller stature, higher waisted.
Hit: RHH. Feet begin balanced in the setup. Slower load of the hands. Showed slight tilt in the bat path with a mostly middle of the field approach. 66.9 mph bat speed with 15 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, averaged 76 mph. 240’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 85.00 mph. High 3/4 slot from a shorter arm stroke. Showed solid arm strength across the infield.
Defense: pop times. Glove is presented early, really clean actions. Looked really athletic on the ball to the glove side.
Run: 7.41 runner in the 60.

Evan Hill, Cherokee County High School (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. High waisted, proportional frame.
Hit: RHH. Balanced and slightly crouched in the box. Level bat path, worked the middle of the field during BP. 57.6 mph bat speed with 15 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 81 max exit velocity, averaged 71.5 mph. 137’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 64.00 mph. High 3/4 slot with still developing arm strength.
Defense: pop times. Early glove presentation, plays well through the ball off of the bat.
Run: 8.51 runner in the 60.

Cooper Mullins, Homewood High School (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: C
Body: 5-10, 165-pounds. Physical lower half. Athletic build.
Hit: RHH. Slightly closed stance with a toe-tap trigger. Showed some tilt in the barrel, consistent tilted line drives to the middle of the field. 71.4 mph bat speed with 15 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 88.5 mph. 341’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 71.00 mph. Clean, quick exchange into a higher 3/4 slot.
Defense: 2.10-2.19 pop times. Clean defensive actions. Showed the ability to "stick" pitches during bullpens. Quiet receiver.
Run: 7.97 runner in the 60.

Caleb Banks, Gardendale (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Athletic, proportional build.
Hit: RHH. Crouched, balanced stance. Simple operation. Mostly level bat path. Advanced round of BP with multiple loud contact to the backside gap. 64 mph bat speed with 20 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 71.5 mph. 256’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 85.00 mph. OF - 86.00 mph. Showed a high 3/4 slot in the OF and IF with present arm strength and carry.
Defense: pop times. OF- solid work through the ball off of the bat, IF- clean actions and ease of operation, really liked the footwork.
Run: 6.89 runner in the 60.

Will Weaver, Mountain Brook (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-11, 170-pounds. Physical lower half, proportional strength.
Hit: LHH. Balanced with the feet. Slow, controlled load of the hands. Solid round of BP. Uphill bat path with the ability to drive balls to the pullside gap. 79 mph bat speed with 17 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 100 max exit velocity, averaged 88.3 mph. 365’ max distance.
Arm: LH. OF - 79.00 mph. Over the top slot with some carry out of the hand. Ball stayed on line to the plate.
Defense: pop times. Easy, clean defensive actions. Worked well through the ball into the throw.
Run: 6.93 runner in the 60.

Haines Bridges, Vestavia Hills (AL), 2027
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-11, 195-pounds. Strength in the lower half.
Hit: RHH. Athletic setup, controlled load of the hands. Tilted bat path, some juice to all fields. 75.5 mph bat speed with 16 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 83.6 mph. 321’ max distance.
Arm: RH. C - 72.00 mph. High 3/4 slot with carry to the 2B bag.
Defense: 2.03-2.11 pop times. Quiet receiver, can extend the plate for pitchers.
