GARDENDALE, AL - The Birmingham Summer ID was held on Wednesday, June 26th at Gardendale High School in Gardendale, AL. This event was an open event hosting some talented prospects from the 2025-2027 classes in Alabama. These players went through extended pro-style workout that included batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion, ran the 60-yard dash using Swift Performance, and much more. Pitchers were able to throw during a simulated bullpen and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing this week.

Clete OBryant, Coosa Christian (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Proportional size, athletic build.
Delivery: Worked out of the stretch exclusively, drop and drive delivery. Hides the ball well.
Arm Action: LH. Longer arm slot, higher 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Showed some action to the arm side, late life. T1984, 1877 average rpm.
SL: 73-74 mph. Tightly spun breaking ball. Very late action. Hard to pick up the spin. T2177, 2174 average rpm.
CH: 71-75 mph. Killed the spin, showed some tumble to the arm side. T2245, 1547 average rpm.

Wyatt Williams, Thompson (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-3, 195-pounds. Physicality throughout, well-proportioned.
Delivery: Hybrid start from the 1B side of the rubber. Controlled operation.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 slot, ball comes out of the hand very easy.
FB: T89, 84-87 mph. Seemed to take off late and explode through the hitting zone. T2365, 2197 average rpm.
SL: 72-73 mph. Solid shape paired off of the fastball. Late action. T2405, 2319 average rpm.
CH: 75-76 mph. Cuts it a bit but solid change of speed. Quality offspeed offering. T1748, 1640 average rpm.

Brady Carden, Westbrook Christian (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/RHP
Body: 6-4, 210-pounds. Large frame with present strength.
Delivery: Short rocker step, stays over the mound.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 slot.
FB: T80, 77-80 mph. Showed occasional late cut. T1842, 1627 average rpm.
CB: 67-67 mph. Sharp action, showed late depth. T2207, 2129 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Solid change of speed, very deceptive off of the fastball. T1217, 1177 average rpm.

Brock Garrett, Chelsea (AL), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-0, 180-pounds. Has continued to fill out, has added size and strength to the frame.
Delivery: Worked exclusively out of the stretch, worked well down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm from a high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 81-82 mph. Showed some arm side run with carry through the one. Located down in the zone. T2238, 2094 average rpm.

Brady Smith, Leeds High School (AL), 2027

Delivery: Exclusively out of the stretch, gathers well over the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top slot, longer arm stroke.
