+ OF Hayden Berry (Helena, 2024) should be a high-follow prospect in the 2024 class for any college program looking to add a quality left-handed bat to their program. Listed at 6-foot-2, 165-pounds, the uncommitted senior possesses long levers and an athletic build with some impactfulness from the left side of the plate offensively. Hitting near the bottom of the order for the Huskies, Berry came up in a big way for his squad in a crucial area contest going 2-for-3 with a single, a double off the CF wall, an RBI, and a walk. Hitting from an athletic stance and a strong base, the left-hander leverages the ball well and appears to be seeing it well here throughout the middle part of the season. He has some bat speed to his left-handed stroke, and there's plenty of reason to believe that he should hit for some higher volumes of power ouput in the future with a projectable frame and a strong barrel to contact. His best swing of the day came on a ringing double off the CF wall facing a L/L matchup, and also worked a quality at-bat earlier fouling off two strikes and finally driving one to CF for an RBI single. He uses the whole field in his approach, and is one of a few talented uncommitted upperclassmen in the Huskies' lineup who is one to get out and see here over the next few weeks.
