+ 1B/RHP Sam Jackson (Lee-Scott Academy, 2025) stands a long and fairly physical 6-foot-2, 200-pounds with some lean strength and room to add, and has been a prospect we've already seen progress over the past year. Carrying a middle-of-the-order presence to the plate and looking to drive in runs with sizable gap-to-gap pop, Jackson was the main source of offensive contribution for the Warriors during yesterday's region contest, where he laced an RBI triple down the LF line to get his team out to an early lead. Widened out a bit with his right-handed stance, Jackson possesses some impactfulness with a heavy barrel to contact with loose hands at the plate. The right-handed barrel works on an uphill path and gets on-plane fairly early. Combined with his higher volumes of power output during a Prep Baseball tournament last summer where he was impressive, Jackson projects to continue to hit in the middle of the order in whatever lineup he's placed in with run-producing capabilities. He's also a talented right-handed pitcher on the mound who has seen his fastball work into the low-80's, as well. An uncommitted prospect in the 2025 class in Alabama who is worth getting eyes on this spring and into the summer.
