+ OF Santae McWilliams, Jr. (Saraland, 2025) is regarded as one of the top multi-sport athletes in the state of Alabama, as he holds multiple Division 1 football offers and has been a key centerpiece on the diamond for the Spartans for the past couple of years. Listed at 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, the uncommitted junior won't "wow" you with size, but his athletic and versatile skill set can impact the game in a variety of ways and it was evident during yesterday's contest. Hitting in the two-hole, McWilliams finished a perfect 3-for-3 with three singles, two RBI's, and three stolen bases to help pace the offense. With a more contact-oriented, line-drive approach hitting from the right side of the plate, the outfielder possesses above-average bat-to-ball skills with sneaky power, and looks to get on base for the bigger hitters behind him to drive him in. He's an instinctive baserunner and can cover tons of ground patrolling center field, while also showing a super-quick first step out of the box with good burst and twitch. Also a highly-touted running back prospect who eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the third consecutive season while scoring 26 touchdowns. A top-50 prospect in the 2025 class in Alabama and a good one to follow closely this spring.
