Top Prospect Games (Underclass): Preview

The Top Prospect Games (Underclass) will be held this Wednesday, June 22nd at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL. Many of the top prospects in the Class of 2024-2027 in the state of Alabama will be in attendance looking to continue to make a name for themselves at an event that has proven to be a springboard for players looking to represent Team Alabama at the PBR Jr. Future Games.
Our staff will be using this event to select players to represent Alabama at the PBR Future Games & PBR Jr. Future Games. The Future Games is the summer's ultimate recruiting event for 2024 and 2025 uncommitted prospects. Last year's event was attended by more than 330 college coaches. This event will take place July 27th - July 30th at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. Last year's PBR Future Games team featured five players from this 2021 Top Prospect Games, and this year should be no different.

SPOT ON THE LINE TO REPRESENT TEAM ALABAMA
Each player that will be in attendance at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL will all be evaluated for a spot to represent Team Alabama at the end of July.
For prospects in the 2024 & 2025 class, those players will have a chance to be selected to play for Team Alabama at the PBR Future Games on July 27th-30th at LakePoint Sports in Cartersville, GA, the most heavily-recruited event of the year. This event is for rising uncommitted juniors & sophomores looking to play at the next level, and they will compete against other uncommitted players from all across the country.

For prospects in the 2026 & 2027 class, those players will have a chance to be selected to play for Team Alabama at the PBR Jr. Future Games on July 26th-31st at LakePoint Sports in Cartersville, GA, one of the top events of the year. This event is for rising 2026's & 2027's and they will compete against other uncommitted players from all across the country.
HISTORY OF THE TOP PROSPECT GAMES
The Top Prospect Games is an invitation-only event that features the top players across the state. Every year, this event highlights the Who’s Who of the state. This event is limited and exclusive to the top prospects in Alabama and serves as a springboard for players to represent Alabama at the PBR Future & Jr. Future Games. The first-ever Top Prospect Games event in Alabama was held in 2018 and the event has continued to gain popularity ever since.
This event has certainly been no stranger for college commitments, as the first four years have a combined 149 players committed to college programs. This year should be no different, as there are some extremely talented uncommitted players still on the board. During Prep Baseball Report events, players will take the Vizual Edge 15-minute baseline evaluation. Following the event, players will receive an email PDF of your results – labeled as your EDGE Score – that will identify your visual strengths and weaknesses and how they directly impact your on-field performance. ProPlayAI will be delivering lab-accurate biomechanics data for purposes of player assessments and in-game analysis, all from a single video camera. ProPlayAI’s biomechanics platform for baseball pitchers, PitchAI, is powered by computer vision algorithms that extract 3D skeletal data from a single 2D video camera such as an iPhone. Through both systems, the Swift UNO timing gates and EZEJump mats, athletes will be evaluated on a multitude of metrics that goes beyond just the 60 yard dash. Participants will be put through a jump protocol as well as adding 10 and 30 yard splits to the 60 yard dash.
