The Commodores were the West Division Champions, finishing with an overall record of 27-15-2, which included an 11 game winning streak. They defeated Bourne 2-1 in the first round of the playoffs before being swept in the West Division Finals by the eventual Cape Champions, Cotuit Kettlers.
Zach DeLoach won the Thurman Munson Batting Champion Award, Zach Brzykcy was voted the Russ Ford Outstanding Relief Pitcher and Austin Masel received the Manny Robello 10th Player Award. All-Stars included DeLoach, Brzykcy, Trei Cruz, Hayden Cantrelle, Franco Aleman and Logan Hofmann. Cruz, DeLoach and Carmen Mlodzinski are the top prospects for 2020, while Aleman and Aidan Maldonado top the 2021s.

He stays on line through his delivery with a steady tempo and has no trouble pounding the inner half and elevating the fastball while both tunneling his curve and burying it as a chase pitch when ahead. It’s purely a relief profile, but one that could be developed to handle late-inning action and high leverage situations. Brzykcy’s strong Cape showing should secure him high on follow lists...
