Alabama Class of 2020 Rankings:

No doubt, the 2020 class in Alabama is one of the strongest in recent years. The class features 15 players that rank in the Prep Baseball Report Class of 2020 Top 500 and is loaded with front line pitchers and position players alike. The #1 ranked player (#25 in the country) in our initial list is Bob Jones RHP/3B Dylan Ray (Alabama commit) who is a definite two way threat after a monster year offensively last spring and is healthy again to pitch for the Patriots next year. This could be ever changing as Ray, a WR on the football team, tore his ACL in game 2 this year. Zane Faulk is our #2 prospect (ranked #34 nationally), a catcher from Smiths Station that can really swing the bat and is advanced behind the plate receiving and showing plus catch and throw skills. #3 on our initial list is Logan Austin (Auburn commit), a RHP from Russell County that features an electric fastball already reaching the low to mid 90’s. Austin is ranked #61 nationally. Dylan Ray’s Bob Jones teammate, SS/2B Caden Rose (Alabama commit)  appears at #4 (#197 nationally) on our list and has seen his stock sky rocket over the last year. Rose is just an athletic, hard nosed baseball player with advanced skills all over the diamond. He is also Bob Jones’ starting QB on the football field and had D1 offers on the gridiron. Another 2 sport athlete comes in at #5 in Hoover OF Robby Ashford (#216 nationally). Featuring a skill set off the charts, his upside could be as high as anyone on our list.
