We are excited to announce the 2025 Prep Baseball South Alabama Showdown, an event that has expanded to 20 of the top high school programs in the state of Alabama for the 2025 high school season. The Prep Baseball South Alabama Showdown will take place on Thursday, February 20th-Saturday, February 22nd at four local host sites that includes the Gulf Shores Sportsplex, Orange Beach Sportsplex, Robertsdale HS and Volanta Park.

The 2024 Prep Baseball South Alabama Showdown was the second of its kind with 15 teams participating in the event at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex, Orange Beach Sportsplex, and Robertsdale HS. Many of those teams spent the majority of the high school season ranked inside the top-10 in their respective classifications, and many reached the later rounds of the Class 7A-1A Playoffs.

Be on the lookout next week for the full release of the first-annual 2025 Prep Baseball Smalltown Showdown, with the full list of teams and schedule to be unveiled on Wednesday, October 30th. ICYMI, the 2025 Prep Baseball Alabama Kickoff Classic was announced last week, another high-level high school event that is hosting some of the top programs to kick-off the high school season. There will be much more information coming as we get closer to all three events, but for now, let's take a look at the 20 participating teams and the schedule for the 2025 Prep Baseball South Alabama Showdown.
