2025 Alabama Preseason All-State Schedule Announced
November 7, 2024
On November 7th, the Prep Baseball Alabama staff rounded out its 2025 Preseason Schedule by announcing the two annual Preseason All-State events held in January of 2025. Both of these are invite-only events geared towards hosting the top prospects in the Class of 2025-2028 in Alabama. Outside of the Yellowhammer State Games in the summer, these are two of the biggest events on our yearly calendar in 2025.
ICYMI, we also announced our Preseason ID Schedule in Alabama on Wednesday. The Preseason ID series serves as an identifier heading into the spring high school season, giving our scouts as well as college recruiters, a list of prospects to follow as they plan their spring coverage.

WHAT IS A PRESEASON ALL-STATE EVENT?
As mentioned above, the Preseason All-State events have easily become one of our largest events of year and attracts some of the highest levels of talent the state of Alabama has to offer. We also tend to see prospects’ best performances in the preseason, as most athletes are fresh and coming off of strict and targeted off-season training programs that have resulted in big gains, primed for updating their Prep Baseball profile. All of which lends the perfect opportunity to secure invitations to some of the summer's biggest invite-only events such as the Yellowhammer State Games, Preseason All-State, Future Games, All-American Game, Super 60, and more.
Our staff strategically hosts Preseason All-State events throughout the state in search of players who have taken advantage of the off-season, identifying new prospects to add to our follow lists or players our staff is already familiar with who are on the rise.
All player information including tech metrics, stats, videos, scouting reports and more will be hosted to the Prep Baseball website, bolstering the player profile, which is subscribed to by more than 900 colleges across the country.
ALABAMA PRESEASON ALL-STATE SCHEDULE
2025 NORTH ALABAMA PRESEASON ALL-STATE
We're excited to host the North Alabama Preseason All-State, our first Preseason All-State of the winter, on January 11th, 2025 at Hartselle Indoor in Hartselle, AL. This event is an invite-only event for the top prospects in the Class of 2025-2028. This event has grown into one of the best events on the yearly calendar with prospects looking to show the improvements and gains they've made in the off-season before their high school seasons begin. Combining from both events in 2024, the Preseason All-State featured 68 commitments with many more to come.
The North Alabama Preseason All-State has consistently brought in the elite of the elite prospects in northern Alabama throughout the last few years. This event also allows us to begin accumulating names for the following summer's Future Games, as the 2024 event featured 12 players who represented Team Alabama at the prestigous event in July. Of some of the bigger names in attendance, 3B/RHP Braden Booth (Bob Jones, 2024) and 3B/RHP Caleb Barnett (Mountain Brook, 2025) are a pair of high-level prospect who shined at the 2024 North Alabama Preseason All-State. Barnett, the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 class and an Alabama recruit, touched 90.8 mph on the mound and posted a 102.5 mph EV during the event. Booth, now a freshman at Mississippi State, springboarded his dominant 2024 campaign recording a 103.3 mph EV in a loud round of BP and would go on to lead Bob Jones HS to their first-ever Class 7A State Championship and be named 2024 Mr. Baseball for the state of Alabama.
