8/9/15 Jewell, a recent Wright State commit, flashed pop times of 1.98-2.05 on throws of 77 mph from the crouch. The 6-foot, 195-pound backstop looks ready to play at the next level defensively right now. Offensively, Jewell showcased a 78 mph bat exit velocity from a slightly open stance. The right-handed hitter displayed a strong lower half and a short stride with a tendency to drop the barrel to the hitting zone. Jewell went 2-for-4 at the plate on day two of the event including a double that was laced to the left-center field wall. Jewell showed his athleticism by running a solid 7.25 60-yard dash and demonstrated a follow-me personality on the diamond.

4/11/15 Jewell had a 2-for-4 day at the plate showing good bat speed with a strong 6-foot, 185-pound frame. Jewell showed a 2.18 in-game pop time on a strong throw to the bag in which the runner beat the tag.

3/30/15 Jewell flashed a 2.12 pop time in game while gunning a base stealer to end the 2nd inning. The uncommitted 6-foot, 185-pound junior had a big day at the plate going 3-for-3 with a short, direct swing path. Jewell registered a bat exit velocity of 92 mph on a sharp single to left in his 2nd at bat.
