10.12.14 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound outfielder/left-handed pitcher, right handed hitter, left handed thrower, athletic build. Quick fluid footwork make Schulz one of the best outfield defenders in the class, lockdown centerfield defender. Posted one of the top 60 times at 6.71, besting his previous time of 6.72 that he ran at the Top Prospect Showcase in June. In the outfield runs accurate and fluid routes, feet work really well, high level athleticism, plays through the ball aggressively and fluidly. Soft hands, arm works from a high ¾ slot at 84 mph. Offensively hits from an open stance, short stride, maintains strong balance through contact. Hands work well in swing, bat control hitter, shows the ability to find the barrel, middle of the field approach. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Delivery is athletic, tall and fall approach, works slightly across body. Arm works clean, athletic and loose. Fastball has slight run, 79-81 mph. Curveball has 1/7 shape, 64-66 mph, shows feel for the pitch. Changeup is mostly straight, showed control of the zone, 73-74 mph.

6/19/14 - Athletically built, 5-foot-10, 150-pound outfielder. Offensively carries himself well, hits from a tall open stance from the right side, short stride, smooth repeatable loading action and swing, maintains excellent balance through contact. Bat path stays on top of the baseball, line drive gap to gap approach, short path, can get more out of back side. Athletic runner, smooth footwork, 6.72 60 yard dash. Defensively plays through the baseball, natural defender. Arm action is loose and athletic high ¾ slot, left handed thrower, showed accuracy with carry, 85 mph arm strength. On the mound worked from a high ¾ slot, loose arm action with arm speed. Minimal effort, tall and fall delivery, slightly across body. Fastball showed control of the zone, 80-81 mph. Curveball has slurve type action, near fastball arm speed, showed feel at 66-68 mph. Changeup flashed occasional sink, showed feel, 74-75 mph.

3/16/14 - Athletic 5-foot-10, 150-pound left handed throwing outfielder. Defensively shows advanced actions in the outfield, plays through the baseball well, fields in stride. Footwork is fluid and quick, 4.08 runner down the line. Arm plays at 84 mph from the outfield, long over the top arm action, creates carry. Offensively hits from the right side, open stance, short stride, maintains strong balance. Path is short, high contact hitter, barrel aware, repeats swing well. 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. On the mound fastball showed occasional cut action, showed feel for the zone, 76-78 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, flashed biting action, 62-64 mph, excellent feel for the pitch. Changeup has sink, near fastball arm speed, 70-72 mph.

10/19/13 - Athletic build, 5-foot-10, 150-pound two-way player. Offensively hits from the right side, open stance, short stride, heel lift trigger, great balance through contact. Athletic swing, shows bat speed, short path to the baseball, line drive type hitter. 80 mph exit velocity. Defensively plays through the baseball well, athletic action, natural outfield instincts, 7.01 runner. Traditional outfield arm action, long loose arm, over the top slot, showed accuracy and carry, 80 mph arm strength from the outfield. On the mound delivery is tall and fall, athletic delivery, slightly across his body. Arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, quick arm speed. Fastball is mostly straight, 76-78 mph, showed control of the zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape, showed feel for the pitch, 60-62 mph. Changeup flashed sinking action, showed control, 68-70 mph.

8/4/13 - Schulz has a great approach to the game. The 5-foot-9, 150-pound left handed throwing outfielder shows excellent composure in game play as well as on the mound. His cool calm demeanor bodes well for hi at the plate where he seems to work counts well and take quality at bat after quality at bat. His two strike approach is solid and is a tough strike out. On the mound Schulz works from the left side out of a high ¾ arm slot. His arm works clean and he controls the mound well with an up tempo pace. His fastball sits at 77-79 mph coupled with an 11/5 breaking ball at 63-64 mph. Schulz also sprinkles in a changeup at 68-70. Schulz athleticism and feel for the game should make him a hot commodity going forward in the 2015 class.

1/27/13 - Athletic two way player, 5-foot-9, 145-pound left handed thrower, right handed hitter. Athletic defensive actions, excellent crow hop, footwork is fluid, plays through the baseball athletically and aggressively. Traditional outfield arm action, loose and over the top, 83 mph arm strength, shows accuracy and carry. Clean setup offensively, balanced stance, smooth load and short stride. Lower half works, rotational tendencies. Bat path is flat through the zone, some length in bat path, line drive gap to gap approach. On the mound delivery shows plus rhythm, no wasted time on the mound, gets the ball and goes, great tempo. Arm works from a high ¾ arm slot, loose arm action, clean arm. Fastball shows control, occasional running action, 75-76 mph, flashing 77. Curveball shows feel, 11/5 action, curveball shows slight hump, repeats fastball delivery. Changeup also shows feel, sinking action, thrown with command at fastball arm speed.
