8/25/13 Costa impressed with solid routes to the baseball, the ability to go get the baseball and an 82 mph arm from his outfield position. The 5-foot-5, 150-pound right handed hitter utilized a square stance and no stride in barreling the baseball repeatedly to all fields during a very solid round of batting practice. Costa showcased a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and a line drive stroke that is ideal for a top of the order hitter. Costa went 2-for-3 in game action at Widener University, turning a single into a double with aggressive base running. The uncommitted senior will be a solid contributor at the next level and should garner increased attention following his performance.
