10/18/14 Yough has shown continual development over the past two years. The 6-foot, 165-pound two-way prospect ran a 7.40 60-yard dash and displayed solid glovework and feet around the bag at first base. Yough starts from a slightly open right-handed stance offensively while utilizing a direct path to the baseball to create a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. He showcased he ability to square the baseball routinely while using all fields. Yough sat 76-78 from a high 3/4 arm slot during his bullpen session with command of four pitches. His 71 mph changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed and his 67 mph curveball, 69 mph slider mix give him four pitches in his arsenal. Yough pounded the strike zone with repeatable mechanics.
9/15/13 Yough is a 6-foot, 155-pound prospect that has shown continual progress. The right-handed hitter has a high hands approach and utilizes his lower half well to create a bat exit velocity of 76 mph. Yough barreled the baseball routinely in batting practice and went 1-for-5 with a walk in game action over two days. He displayed the ability to play through the baseball and improving arm strength with throws of 72 mph across the diamond. Yough topped at 75 mph out of a high 3/4 arm slot at Thiel College. He also showcased a 67 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 70 mph changeup during his inning of work. Yough yielded one hit and an unearned run while coaxing three ground balls.
8/15/12 Yough showed well in all areas of the game. From the mound he displayed a good deal of potential, topping at 73 mph with a deceptive delivery and late arm side run on his fastball. The 5-foot-10, 145-pound right hander also threw consistent strikes with a 64 mph curve ball and a 67 mph change up. With some physical growth Yough should develop additional velocity and break to his curveball.

The underclassman threw 70 mph across the infield, displaying soft hands and good range. He ran a 7.9 60-yard dash and showcased a 73 mph bat exit speed velo. The two-way prospect should continue to progress with added growth and physical maturity.
