7/18/13 Switalski has been garnering considerable Division I interest, and based on his performance during batting practice rightfully so. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound right-handed hitter put on a hitting display, driving seven balls out of the park and consistently barreling the baseball with authority. Switalski topped all infield arms at 85 mph across the diamond and sat 84-86 from the mound. He also showed command of a 73 mph 11/5 breaking curveball and a 78 mph changeup that had late downward action.

2/23/13 Switalski is a strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect who showcased one of the top infield arms of the day at 84 mph across the diamond. The right-handed hitter has a lot of barrel whip and strong hands that allowed for an 89 mph bat exit velocity. Switalski has a flat bat path through the hitting zone and gets to extension regularly. He showed legitimate power potential in a solid round of batting practice. The junior sat 81-82 with an over the top fastball that showed little movement. Switalski also commanded a 66 mph 12/6 curveball that showed gradual break and a 69 mph changeup.
9/27/12 Switalski, a member of Team Pennsylvania at the Under Armour Midwest Future Games in August, displayed his all-around skills at the event. He ran a 7.38 60-yard dash, had an impressive 88 mph bat exit velocity and showed a strong arm across the infield at 78 mph. On the mound the 5-foot-11, 190-pound junior topped out at 84 mph with a solid 69 mph curveball and a 72 mph changeup. Switalski had one of the top rounds of batting practice, repeatedly driving baseballs to the wall.
6/13/12 Switalski, Class of 2014, showed the top fast ball of the day topping out at 84 mph. His 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame was put to good use as he effortlessly sat at 82-83 mph with a 66 mph curve ball. He demonstrated excellent control of his secondary pitches and good sink to his change up.
Switalski was equally impressive as a hitter. His bat exit speed velocity of 86 mph was the top at the event. The right handed hitter used an explosive lower half to generate consistent line drives to both gaps. Switalski will represent Team Pennsylvania at the 2012 Midwest Future Games.
