10/19/13 Fantaskey is a long strider that covers a lot of ground in the outfield. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-handed hitter turned in a blazing 3.94 home-to-1B time and showcased a strong arm at 86 mph. Fantaskey is still developing his swing, but showcased the potential for some gap power with a bat exit velocity of 91 mph. He has the athleticism and physical size to be a productive offensive performer at the next level.

9/8/13 Fantaskey continues to impress with his foot speed (6.75 60-yard dash). The 6-foot-2, 170-pound uncommitted senior gets out of the box extremely well for a right-handed hitter. Fantaskey went 2-for-4 in game action at Mansfield University with two infield singles. He nearly had a 3rd infield single, but was thrown out on a bang-bang play at 1B.

7/18/13 Fantaskey is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect with a big upside. He ran an event best 6.87 60-yard dash and showcased an 87 mph arm from the outfield. Fantaskey showed good feet and solid carry on throws of 82 mph across the infield as well. The right-handed hitter displayed an 86 mph bat exit velocity and the potential to be a quality hitter at the next level. His swing plane is flat and he barrels the baseball routinely.

6/18/13 Fantaskey is an athletically built 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect that has above average arm strength, good foot speed and some pop in his bat. He ran a 6.85 60-yard dash and displayed accurate throws with good straight line carry of 85 mph from the outfield. Fantaskey also displayed the ability to make all the plays in the middle infield with solid throws of 83 mph across the diamond. The right-handed hitter sits on his back side and uses a strong hip turn to create a bat exit speed of 87 mph. Fantaskey squared the baseball consistently and showed some gap power during a solid round of batting practice.

9/26/12 Fantaskey had a strong showing during the showcase portion of the weekend. His 83mph arm from the outfield was the second best at the event. He was also among the event's best with a 7.24 60-yard dash and a bat exit speed of 84mph. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound right handed hitter was a member of Team Pennsylvania at the Under Armour Midwest Future Games in August.

8/15/12 Fantaskey showcased the top infield arm at the event (82mph). He also displayed the top outfield arm (85mph). His 7.21 60-yard dash and 79mph bat exit speed velo were also near the top of both categories. Fantaskey uses his body well to gain added velocity at both positions by working through the ball regularly. Fantaskey’s ability to play nearly every position on the field well makes him an interesting prospect. He should continue to see his stock rise.

6/13/12 Fantaskey had a solid round of batting practice, squaring up baseballs and driving them to all fields. The Class of 2014 infielder displayed a solid arm across the infield at 81 mph, and one of the better bat exit speed velocities of the day at 79 mph. At 6-foot-2, 170-pounds, Fantaskey displayed good agility and soft hands during his defensive evaluation. He represented Team Pennsylvania at the 2012 Midwest Future Games.
