6/18/14 Reese had a very solid event at the plate going 3-for-6 with a triple. The left-handed hitter hits from a slightly open stance and displayed the ability to go the opposite way with some authority. The 6-foot, 185-pounder ran a 6.78 60-yard dash, registered an 80 mph bat exit velocity and showcased an 82 mph arm from the outfield. Reese also sat 76-78 on the mound during two innings of work in game play.
4/6/14 Reese sat 79-81 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with limited contribution from his lower half. A tweak or two to his delivery could provide and additional 3-4 mph of velocity. He yielded just two hits and one run in six innings of work. His 69-70 curveball showed short, tight break and was used effectively against the top of the order. mphThe 6-foot, 180-pound OF/1B treats pitching as his third position. Offensively the left-handed hitter showcased a handsy swing from a slightly open stance. He went 1-for-3 on the day getting down the line in 4.35 on an infield single.
