Curtis is a PBR Ontario favourite as the Middle Tennessee State commit continues to get stronger and polish off his game leading into the fall of 2015. At 6-foot, 190-pounds, Curtis posseses current strength and has a well proportioned frame to play middle infield. Hands are smooth and soft, approaches ball well and makes accurate and strong throws with carry. Agile feet and strong first step allow him to make plays either side of his body. At the plate, Curtis is short to contact with a balanced swing and line drive approach. Will get into balls and drive them out the yard but he projects as a doubles hitter at the next level. One of the top infielders in Ontario, Curtis continues to improve and get better every time we see him.

10/26/14
5-foot-11, 175-pound athletic frame with room to add strength. Defensively showed good actions on the infield. Bounce in lower half, good first step, live body with clean actions. Hands were soft and confident, arm played with life and carry at 85 mph, good body control. At the plate, hits in even stance with quiet actions from the left side. Generates good bat speed with a level swing. Hard contact with barrel control, good extension through zone with upright finish. Exit velocity was 81 mph and 40 time at 5.10. Good looking prospect from 2016 class.

Athletic infielder with quick twitch actions. Some strength to his frame at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds, with room to add more. Line drive player with hard contact, potential for power. Plays a sound infield, hands and feet work with some arm strength across the diamond.
