6-foot, 185 pound athletic body frame. From the outfield he really comes through the baseball and uses an athletic crow hop. He throws from high ¾ slot and has good carry on his ball. Right-handed hitter starts open to close with a strong lower ½. Very athletic in the batters box with little load and good bat speed that produced line drives and power.
7/29/13
5-foot-10-, 170-pound outfield prospect with athletic frame. Uses short arm action through a high ¾ arm slot from the outfield. Reached a top velocity of 78 mph with some carry to his throws. Shows natural actions. Needs to continue getting comfortable playing through the ball. At the plate, he uses a short stride. Takes short, level path to the ball with line drive production to all fields. Ran a 4.36 out of the box.
6/26/13
5-foot-10, 170-pound outfield prospect with athletic frame. Registered a 6.9 60-yard dash. From the outfield, he shows the potential to play any three of the positions. Uses long arm action through high ¾ to over the top arm slot. Reached a top velocity of 81 mph with some carry on his throws. At the plate, he starts in a slightly open stance. Uses a short stride with a big load. Takes short, level path to the ball. Line drive type hitter with quick bat speed (85 mph off the tee). Definite follow in the Class of 2016.
2/10/13
5-foot-10, 167-pound outfielder that showed some promise with fluid footwork and arm strength (79 mph) in the field. Uses short arm action from an over the top slot and shows some quickness to his exchange. Offensively, he uses a compact, balanced swing at the plate. He relies on rotational mechanics and doesn’t take a stride in his swing. Uses a simple load with his hands and a slight uphill path to the ball.
