2015 Second Team All-Ozark Conference Outfield

10/5/14 - Herron, batting lead-off, didn't have much to show at the plate on Sunday, but did show the ability to work inside the ball and fight off tough pitches, earning a six-pitch walk.  He also picked up an RBI on a sac fly in an earlier game.  Defensively, he showed a strong arm hitting the cut-off man to nail a runner at third.

9/27/14 - a projectable 6-foot-2 175-pound OF/LHP, in the outfield, 79 mph positional velo, attacks ball with good routes, long arm swing with high ¾ release, quick exchange and release, mostly accurate throws with carry.  Offensively, athletic set up, slightly open, simple load, quick bat speed, middle approach with pull power, hits with leverage, level bat path, stays on ball with extension, exit velo of 86 mph, runs a 7.04 60 and 4.58 home-to-first.  On the mound, high ¾ release, stays inline, throws with regular effort, 77-80 mph with fastball, slight run, 2-to-8 curveball at 63-66 mph with gradual break, good change-up at near fastball arm speed at 68-72 mph, arm side release. Throws strikes

6/17/14 - Herron is a projectable 6-foot-2 175-pound left handed hitting outfielder.  Herron gets good reads on the ball in the outfield.  He had a positional velo of 78 MPH and made somewhat accurate throws to his target.  He has a clean exchange and a 3/4 release.  With the bat, Herron has a very repeatable swing.  He starts in an athletic position and has a smooth load.  He has a line drive approach to both gaps with signs of power to his pull gap.  Herron has a quick, level bat path with an exit velo of 78 MPH.  He runs a 7.19 60. 

6/17/14 - Herron is a projectable, long-legged 6-foot-2 175-pound LHP with some deception in his delivery.  He sat at 74-76 MPH with his fastball, touching 78.  Herron’s fastball has hard run, with a 3/4 release.  His curveball is a 2-to-8 in shape and thrown with fastball arm speed at 60-63 MPH. He has a quick arm and throws with regular effort.  He lands square and has an athletic finish.  Herron has the athletic ability and frame to add velocity as he continues to develop.
