6/24/14 – Hennon is a strong, athletic 6-foot-0, 185-pound left-hand hitting catcher. He ran a 60 at 7.75 and a home-to-first time of 4.94. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot. Jordan’s throws were very accurate and had great carry. He has quick fluid feet and a clean exchange. His position velo was 71 MPH. He posted a POP range of 2.06-2.16. At the plate, Hennon has an athletic setup and a smooth load with a short stride. He gets good extension through the ball and has an advanced approach. Jordan’s swing produces line drives and has good power. He had an exit velo of 78 MPH.
Hennon is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound two way player. Behind the plate, Hennon showed to be an effective receiver, with a stiff wrist and soft hands. He has fundamental footwork, with a top pop time of 2.19. Offensively, the left handed hitter has an unorthodox, yet effective stance and showed quick bat speed with barrel whip through the zone and some pull side power.
