6-foot-1, 195 pound prospect. Gets downhill well with his size on the mound. Fastball stays down in zone well at 77-83 mph. Curveball with gradual break at 60-61 mph. Change-up with some sink at 74 mph. Good hands and range at shortstop, short arm action throwing 73 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.40 60. Strong bat creating good leverage at the plate with a gap to gap approach. Bat speed registered at 86 mph.
2/9/13 Zaceiwski is a 6-foot-1 175-pound shortstop from highly regarded Blissfield HS. He moved well laterally and showed soft hands. He runs a 7.5 in the 60. HIs throws were solid to first base (75 mph). Zaciewski did work out on the mound but we think he projects best in the infield. His fastball was 74-75 on this day. HIs breaking ball did have some bite and was 68-67 mph.
